Visiting Brother and family over Thanksgiving, we all went to Sunshine Breakfast Restaurant on the day after Thanksgiving. Friday Morning we numbered about 18 or 21, and with the help of the staff put together a long table. Immediately we were asked for our beverage of choice and began perusing the menu. WOW! What a selection. Everything from beautiful Belgian Waffles, completely your way, anything and everything you ever wished for on a waffle, to eggs, any way, beautifully turned out omelets, sides, and my favorite, grits, cooked the way they should be, in milk. I ordered the grits with a few pancakes and was totally satisfied. Some opted for omelets, some eggs, with all various meats, etc. Lots of happy noises as we all tucked in to a fantastic breakfast. Have no idea how they manage to serve what they do, for "the easy on the pocketbook" price they charge. We all had a wonderful time, made all the better by our very cheerful server who's name I did not get, but was told he has been there quite some time. On the weekends I was told they serve a sumptuous buffet. Wish I lived here I certainly would take advantage of it. The restaurant is very clean and neat, and everyone there is very, very pleasant and treat you like you are the only person in the world. Highly recommend Sunshine Breakfast and maybe if I am really nice my brother will invite me to his home again and we can again go there for breakfast ...
Read moreI recently visited Sunshine Breakfast Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and service. The breakfast options were extensive and the portions were generous, with everything cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure my dining experience was enjoyable.
I particularly enjoyed the omelettes, which were packed full of delicious ingredients and cooked just the way I like them. The pancakes were also some of the best I've had, fluffy and flavorful. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable, making it an affordable breakfast option for anyone.
Overall, I highly recommend Sunshine Breakfast Restaurant to anyone in the Richmond Hill area looking for a delicious and satisfying breakfast. The food and service are truly outstanding, and it's easy to see why this restaurant is so popular among locals and...
Read moreNo updated menu online. DO NOT ORDER TOGO! The prices we found online were MUCH less than we were charged. The $10 “Fruit” waffle is a hotel lobby waffle with a banana sliced on top, 1 strawberry, 2 blueberries and no whipped cream. Hash browns were dry, bland & had zero flavor. The omelette was average at best. Not much flavor w/“seasoned” chicken and the toast had no butter or jelly on the side. Two slices of white bread-thanks… Oh yeah, and a $1 up-charge to add onions to an omelette. Don’t try this place, maybe the buffet is “good value” but I can’t imagine the food is good. Go to Denny’s or drive to Waffle House. Worst breakfast I’ve had in 5 years. My 3 year olds scrambled eggs...
