Captain D's — Restaurant in Richmond

I went through the drive thru to order. Asked for 3 meals. Got 4 the price was 37 dollars and some change. Tried to explain the issue, the employee was confused so I just took it. Went to give my friends their food and the sides were wrong and did not recieve the right meal for one. When I was waiting to receive my food the food runners mixed up 3 orders for other customers. One guy was waiting an hour for his food. Still came out wrong. My friend and I came back to correct the mistake and get money back for the random meal I did not ask for. The drive thru attendant was obnoxious and confrontational. Saying that I lied and that she read my order back (she did not) one of the employees let us in the door to talk about it and was yelled at for coming in. They still allowed us to stay in and thr manager tried to help us. He was also impatient and confrontational. He kept saying that we were not supposed to be in the store. But did not have time to help us. Finally after much yelling and anger from the other employees the manager threw money at us and told us to leave. I called him and a hole and told him to suck one. He didnt like that and said he was calling the police. When I got to the car I only received 18 dollars rather than the 37 I was owed. So I went back and the other employee talked with my friend because I was not helping the situation. The manager said I would have to wait a while because I was the one that made the mistake of calling him names. They came out 15 minutes later and gave us correct change. All in all thre service was abysmal. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. They were more interested in pleading their case that I ordered the wrong food. They had no intention of serving the customer. The new employee that let us in was very professional and sweet. No hostile at all. The other two should be fired. Completely ignorant...

The main reason for my 5 stars is because of the freshly made meals as they are ordered & the fact that I used a coupon & was still served a standard size meal!when I dined at the Chester va location twice & used a coupon for the 2nd same meal I felt that I was given smaller portions ! The second reason was the friendly staff and when I walked in I was greeted & treated as if we knew each other.I ordered a medium coke and I asked about free refills with my coupon meal?with just a slight hesitation, she said yes.as soon as my order was placed,she resumed cleaning tables, which to me is a good sign.I watched as she inspected 3 separate dining room areas & within a few minutes she brought my order to me.I had upscaled by also ordering 5 fried shrimp with my meal,& I was surprised by how good it looked so I told her that I would like to take some pictures and do a review if they didn't mind & I was given permission to do so.after I finished,I went back to the counter to review the menu, & a manager came up front and asked me if anything was wrong?I explained what I was doing and he assured me that if anyone had any problems with anything during their dining experience,that corrections would be immediately made! That's good to know ! This is one of Richmond's oldest captain D'S, but still clean and well maintained & as of this writing,it's also my favorite...yes I will bypass the Chester location where I was made to feel uncomfortable & drive to this Richmond to dine at this...

If I can give 0 Stars I would Today I went to Captain D's I order big fish combo and a order of mozzarella sticks and a cup of ice in the drive thru I pulled up to the window and this guy just gave me a nasty look I was unlocking my card I handed the card to him he passed my card and receipt back to me and I looked the the receipt and saw thing I didn't order so I said to him I didn't order funnal cake sticks I order mozzarella sticks he just look at me like I said something crazy so he never responded he just gave me a dirty look I asked for a cup of ice I was willing to pay for iit again he just look at me, I had to ask him can he understand what I was saying to him nothing just looking at me like I did something wrong to him . I had to ask a few time . But no he gave me this small cup of ice he put something in the cup I threw it out, my sandwich bread was burnt and gave me 6 okra for a meal $14.00 I am not happy with this and I never got the right food after telling him it was wrong .I never ordered funnal cake sticks I order...
