I visited here for breakfast today. I wasn't going to say much about this location, but this is the second time in as many visits that I have been confronted with increasingly terrible service and unsanitary food service practices. The last time I visited this location, a young lady working there brought all of my condiments out in her shirt--literally. And she found this to be funny.
Against my better judgement, I went there today for breakfast. I placed my order and let them know that I had a coupon. So the woman taking the order told me to drive around to the window. After doing so, I pulled the coupon sheet and proceeded to tear the coupon out to give it to the cashier. She gave me the total and I said once again that I have a coupon. In a most nasty way, she replied, "You're supposed to have your coupon ready when you get to the window." She was very short with me and her tone was extremely unfriendly, exemplary of poor customer service. I told her the obvious thing. I'm driving so I can't rip coupons out while doing so. Anyhow, I gave her the coupon and she gave me the new total. She handed me my drinks and I could see that her hands were dirty. Her fingernails were discolored, possibly from her hair dye or makeup. She also had dirt under her nails that could easily have been remedied with some hot water and soap.
I had originally asked for six creams with my coffee. She only gave me four. When I asked for two additional creams, she said that I couldn't get them because I have a small coffee. I asked for a manager. Because, honestly, her attitude was so negative, that I would have rather spoken with someone who was trained to deal with customers more positively. After asking the manager about the creams herself, she came back and handed me 3 additional creams. Then asked me to pull forward (as usual at this location). Before doing so, I asked for strawberry and grape jelly. Before I could even finish the sentence, this woman cut me off and spoke over me to tell me that they only have grape jelly. That was the last straw for me. I told her that I wanted my money back. I don't believe in spending money where I am not welcomed or treated properly. The manager came and gave me my refund. While doing so, the nasty cashier was scratching her head. I pointed out to the manager that this woman was nasty to me and had dirty fingers. When she started scratching her head, I knew then where the residue under her nails came from. She quickly tucked her soiled fingers into her pockets. She continued working and was not forced to cleanse her dirty digits.
It is no wonder that there are so many complaints about this location, the poor service and the substandard food. Time to get it together or close this place down. There are too many germs and viruses disrupting the sanctity of this community and threatening the health of the people to allow our friends in fast food work to cut corners on hygiene. If your head is itching, wash it. Don't scratch your festering scalp in front of customers, then without washing, dip those contaminated fingers into the ice tray to fix drinks. No one wants to sample a hot coffee with a side of dematophytes. I will not return here as I have learned...
Read moreI came in before lunch That was 1 lady on the cash register up front and she was running the Drive-through After 10 or 15 minutes of waiting she finally took my order well I knew I had to understand because she was the only one up there and I did. She was very rude and unprofessional. As a grown African American Woman, I've been working in the Fast Food industries, Upscale Restaurants etc. For over 20yrs I became a manager at the age of 17 right after I 🎓 graduated. So when I see an African American Woman looking the way she did, there was no hair net she keeps swinging her plats back and forth and using her bare hands to do it. She ignored us for about 10mins but I was being patient again. Because she was the only one working the shakes were watering ask for maybe add some more ice cream..she snapped on me I just asked for my money back she caught an attitude 🙃..got my food it was awful 😖 😱..she took my sandwich back SHE USED HER NASTY HANDS TO ADD CHEESE my husband food was wrong..I told her I saw you redo my food w/no gloves she lied in my face and said "I did use gloves" I was a manager, and I was the owner of my store for 15yrs at McDonald's so I can't believe Hardee's would allow someone like her to work there I don't understand Maybe she needs to be retrained. But I'm embarrassed for her, me, and all of us African-American women because we already have 2 strikes against us, and it's being a woman and African American. So please maybe retrain your employees. If you ever need any help just call 📞 me. I'm serious. My...
Read moreI finally decided to use a coupon. I decided to use the drive-thru as I was not done with my errands route. There was an elder couple in an SUV ahead of me. As I wait, I realize they had never taken his order. The gentleman, respectable veteran, starts his order. I can hear him loud and clear. For some reason the cashier cannot. He clearly asks how he wants his food for himself and his wife. He had to repeat himself several times. He finally was given his total and was asked to pull up to his window. It's my turn now, and the lady asks me to wait. I can hear the previous customer being asked once again how he wanted his food and he again clearly repeats himself. My order process was quick. I pull behind the previous customer. He, Im and the customer were all asked to park on the lot for our food. I then notice the gentleman's food being brought to him. It's wrong. The employee walked back and forth a few times before they finally got it right. I had to walk to the building to get my order and still had to wait for my drink...standing in the drive-thru. The gentleman after me got his food before I walked back to my car. I could submit this to the restaurant, but I never got my receipt. Thanks Hardee's for finally helping me make my decision to...
