Truly authentic Mexican food (hint: does not include hard shell tacos and ground beef) is incredibly rare in the Midwest, but this gem is one of the exceptions. Carne asada and chorizo are standouts as is the homemade salsa de tomatillo and chipotle. Store is small, hot, and feels just like a tienda you would find in Mexico. I order Carne Asada Tacos Supreme, which came with small bits of beef that looked like ground beef, each taco had two corn tortillas, and all the fixings.
