Bismarck Donuts & Coffee — Restaurant in Richmond

Poor customer service on behalf of the older lady. My family and I stopped in for a quick bite since my daughter mentioned that this place had great breakfast sandwiches. We had already started to eat our food when I decided to get milk took my place in line to Pay my daughter decided she wanted another item as well so she took my place I was next in line so asked her to take my place pay for my milk and get what she needed. But I guess the lady serving did not like it told her to go to the back of the line. She was rude and disrespectful when I brought it up to her attention. I tried explaining to her she was taking my spot so I can go eat she did not seem to care and basically said you got service once other people are next if you don’t like it you can leave . I hope this lady understands that she works in customer service/restaurant and that is not how it works and that she depends on people coming in to get service to keep her business going. Maybe she’s not a morning person or her day started bad whatever the case that is not how you treat...

I was in town for a family gathering and needed a place to bring my 11 people while we were waiting between functions. We were all pleasantly surprised! Before my parents left town they stopped one more time to get the spicy sausage roll! We all are still drooling about anything the maple frosting/glaze touched. 2 days later and I finished my maple glazed cinnamon roll and I was still weeping with joy from it. This little shop has a great variety and the donuts have always been fresh. The people there are so kind and work fast..

They offer espresso drinks (definitely sweet and a treat) if you don't like sweet do not get an iced latte. If you like your coffee to be a treat then its the spot for you.

I've only visited early in the mornings, and they always seem to be well staffed and stocked up.

I want to note that there are no sugar free options, but they did have one donut that was on the plain side with less sugar
