It really saddens me that this place has gone completely downhill for us. Once upon a time this was our favorite spot but after this weekend we will no longer eat here. The portions were never great (but the food was ALWAYS great) and now the portions are even smaller. In the past when I ordered BBQ beef spareribs that's what I got (succulent slabs of beef ribs) but yesterday I received slices of hard meat that I had to give to our dog. Some pieces were so hard that the dog didn't eat them. The BBQ meat came with a salad and rice like a lunch plate or something. The chicken Larb I ordered came as a half order and with a salad the same size as the Larb. Larb is a salad so why an extra salad on the side? Also, it was extremely hot. If I did not ask for it to taste like it came from the pits of hell. then it should not have been flavored with super hot peppers. Mind you I love hot food but this was inedible for my guests. The spring rolls were barely cooked they were not golden brown nor crispy, plus I was missing. The Pad Thai was extremely dry and flavorless. The Panang Curry which I always get ala carte was good but I was given it over rice which is a half portion (however I was charged for a full portion). The angel wings were good as usual but they failed to cut them into three portions as they always had in the past. It's kinda hard eating a whole stuffed chicken wing. I spent $100 for one of the worst meals that I have had to experience on a Father's Day of all days. In addition to that I had to spend on more food from another establishment because the portions sizes have been drastically cut. My wife is a chef so I understand that food prices have risen dramatically but instead of shorting your customers maybe just increase your prices. No one wants to be charged full price for a obvious lunch plate as I was charged yesterday. Again, its a sad day because I can no longer spend another dime after that...

A mixed bag of an experience with decent ambience but disappointing food and painfully slow service.

Pad Thai: The Pad Thai was decent but lacked the wow factor. It felt like a run-of-the-mill dish that didn’t leave much of an impression.

Soup: The soup was a disappointment. It leaned too heavily on sweetness and an overpowering coconut flavor, which threw off the balance completely. Definitely room for improvement here.

Service: The service was painfully slow. It’s not just slow—it truly tests your patience. Waiting for your order felt endless, which really detracted from the dining experience.

Ambience: The ambience, on the other hand, was a redeeming factor. It’s a cozy and pleasant setting that creates a nice atmosphere for dining, even if the food and service didn’t match up.

Overall, while the ambience might draw you in, the experience falls short due to the food...

GREAT FOOD!! Tonight was very crowded due to the in-house band there making beautiful music. I called in my order as I had previously planned to do. I was told that it would be 25 minutes to pickup. It actually ended up being a 50 minute wait. I wasn't to thrilled about that. The staff was actually working their butts off & kept checking on things for me. Therefore, I do recognize that & know that they were doing their best with all things considered & they brought my order to me fresh & hot. I order here often since I looooove their basil rice with shrimp & salmon mix. They usually have it hot & ready for me to enjoy without a wait. Nevertheless, I highly recommend Sala Thia on the Richmond Parkway. Great food & very...

Menu online needs to be updated, I'm including a pic of the current menu & prices. It was located in a shopping plaza, small but cute simple decor. We had the tom ka soup with tofu, wonton soup, tofu fresh rolls, and garlic green beans with tofu. The tofu fresh rolls were average, you get 2 rolls that were cut in 8 pieces with a side of peanut sauce and sweet/vinegar sauce. The tom ka soup was very good, thick with lots of creamy coconut milk. They included a good variety of vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, mushrooms and onions. The won ton soup also had a lot of veggies in it as well. We really liked the sauce for the green beans even though they were slightly over cooked and wrinkled. Overall it was very good.

I revisited this Thai restaurant and was delighted! 🌟 Green curry salmon and pad see ew were delicious, but next time, I’ll try a different noodle option. Thai tea was spectacular, and the service was attentive, especially the tall waiter who exuded natural customer service qualities with everyone who walked in👌 The cozy, beautifully decorated atmosphere, especially with holiday decor, felt warm and inviting. Also want to point out that the restroom was well, kept, clean, and smelling nice, which is always a great sign for any establishment. Thank you, —— Year, 2022 Absolute yes!!! Had my first taste of yellow curry and had to pause to write this review!!! Cute place and friendly staff!
