I visited a this subway establishment on 4320 Commerce Rd to order my regular sandwich. However, once inside the store, I attempted to make reservations on my mobile device and thereafter seated myself on a chair. The wheelchair-bound Indian gentleman inquired about my activities and made a statement regarding the presence of black individuals engaging in altercations within the subway. Please note that I went into the subway by myself. I lodged at a hotel in close proximity. I had specifically ventured out solely to procure my customary subway sandwich. The individual in the wheelchair subjected me to verbal abuse solely based on my race. I believe it is inappropriate for those of African descent to endorse this particular subway establishment due to the discriminatory behavior exhibited by the Indian male proprietor, the woman, and the owner, who is wheelchair-bound. Individuals should feel apprehensive about buying food from this franchise owned by him. I am dissatisfied with the way customers are handled in modern society in some states in the United States of America. The Subway franchise should be ashamed. I frequented multiple subway locations in Brooklyn yet this event never transpired. Although I have forgiven him, his demeanor is repulsive. This seems to be his demeanor toward...
Read moreSo, the quality of taste was great. I've never been disappointed by the taste of the subs. However, the woman at the register had knowingly added items on the receipt that were NOT ordered. Adding a whole extra sub, and extra drinks onto an already large order. Myself and my training class had gone in all together as our instructor was kind enough to buy us all 11 of us lunch. Apparently it happens quite often with his classes and I've noticed a lot if other people complaining about similar issues. I would call it a simple mistake because of the large group, but we went one by one as to not cause confusion. The gentleman there was very quick and accurate from what all had said, but the woman there was the one working register and toppings, so she knows exactly what came up. So, I don't understand how it could be a "mistake" if she watched and helped make each sandwich and counted as she went. ESPECIALLY hearing and reading that it happens often. Our instructor said he's not too worried about it, but at the same time.. it's the principal of the situation in general. That's not cool. You're making a good profit off the large group and still do something like that. It's greed and selfishness. Quality food, not a quality...
Read moreStopped to eat on a long road trip 10/27 @8:15pm. First of all, I work for Subway at home in SC. Several things I noticed, first their bathroom was nasty and the toilet did not work. When we got to the line to order, the guy that waited on us took off one old glove, and did not wash hands before putting on a new one. We were not greeted. We were not asked if we wanted deluxe. The line was a mess with food everywhere. They put fresh banana peppers on a pan with old ones. As for the sandwiches, another guy came from the lobby where he was stocking chips and came to the line to finish our sandwiches. He also did not wash his hands before putting on gloves. He did not seem to know what he was doing in preparing the sandwiches. One of our sandwiches we asked for mayo only, and he put lettuce and onion. When we him to remove the lettuce and onion, he put it back in the pan with the "fresh" veggies. They used a dirty knife to close our sandwiches. The tea was expired by 3 hours. The lobby was dirty. All around nasty. We won't be coming back and I hope that people read this review and think twice about eating here. This is not how a subway is...
