We get there after a football game wasn't packed at all keep in mind. They seat us at the table never gave us the menu. We waited for a little bit, finally came and got our drinks ordered. Still no menu, Lucky they seat us by the menu's so I reached over and grabbed them. When they finally took our order we waited for our food, my husband had to get a different drink cause his tea tasted sour and they charged us for water. They brought us our food but guess what no silverware it took forever for a waiter come by even my husband got up and looked behind the counter nothing finally got our silverware. Food had no flavor my grilled shrimp was room temp, the guacamole had no flavor. Then when time to paid which we always give a tip even at fast food restaurants depending on the service they gave them self a $4 tip cause our bill was $98.00 my husband even put 0 with line marked through it. This has been a favorite place to eat in town for over twenty years, and for good reason. The food is reliably delicious and the staff is always friendly, especially Blanca who is the sweetest person ever ❤️. They are great with making substitutions on your order if you need to customize a dish, like I love adding whole black beans to the shrimp soup instead of the rice it usually comes with. The only downside for me is that they still have an indoor smoking section and so in some seating near that area you’ll have to put up with a lot of cigarette smell. I came in with friends. Having heard it was good Mexican good. I ordered the dish that had pork, beef, chicken, shrimp and onions, along with rice, guacamole, and refried beans. It came with warm tortillas there were but three but they gave me three more.. the salsa was thin and reminded me of tomato juice but the atmosphere and a bottle of pepper sauce made up for it.
