I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wasabi Sushi and Grill, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From their delectable Spicy Ramen Seafood Ramen to their innovative Filet Mignon Sushi Roll, this restaurant truly exceeded my expectations.
The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance. The restaurant's modern and stylish decor created a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic.
Now, let's talk about the food. The Spicy Ramen Seafood Ramen was an explosion of flavors. The broth was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. The abundance of fresh seafood, including succulent shrimp, tender scallops, and perfectly cooked calamari, made every bite an indulgence. The portion size was generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied.
As for the Filet Mignon Sushi Roll, it was a true culinary masterpiece. The combination of melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon, avocado, and spicy mayo was simply divine. Each bite was a perfect balance of textures and flavors. The presentation was beautiful, displaying the chef's meticulous attention to detail.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also exceptional. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and took great care in ensuring that all my needs were met. They were happy to provide recommendations and answered all my questions with a smile.
Overall, my experience at Wasabi Sushi and Grill was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend trying their Spicy Ramen Seafood Ramen and Filet Mignon Sushi Roll. Read moreTried this place for the first time. It's a well kept establishment, nicely furnished & clean. When I ordered, I informed the waitress that I am intolerant of wheat gluten. She said she understood & even brought me a bottle of gluten free soy sauce, which I found reassuring. However, when my food arrived I discovered that one of the rolls I ordered had tempura mixed into the sauce. When I pointed this out, she defensively attempted to point to the menu description. It did not list tempura as part of the ingredients. She acted as if it was my fault that I had ordered something I cannot eat & that it should have been obvious to me. Which is wrong, it is her responsibility to take allergy notifications seriously & inform diners if they accidentally are ordering something they should not eat. Even though she brought out gluten free soy sauce, she clearly did not care or did not understand about customers with allergy concerns. I was given a substitute maki (although not what I asked for) & charged for it. I thought that was chintzy but it's their right to get paid for the food the sell. Other than this, the food was good & if you have no allergy concerns it seems a fine place to stop for standard sushi or hibachi fare. I'm taking two stars down because of the poor attitude exhibited by my server, & the fact that they only pay lip service to allergy concerns. I will not be eating here again...
Read moreIt was 2 weeks ago today that my son & I had wonderful luck choosing Wasabi for our final dinner in Alabama. To say the food here is delicious would insult these two master sushi chefs. My first sushi (trial) meal, June 1972 in Eastchester, NY. My Beverly & I traveled NY Metro area eating sushi at known & yet to be discovered top restaurant. Wasabi falls into the latter category. In Fl since Superbowl 1992, yes the Giants at Tampa stadium. We enjoyed local sushi but... Here at Wasabi, it wasn't just the wide choice of new combinations, try the filet mignon roll. I forgot how perfect sashimi could be. The fish here expertly sliced. The pieces almost melt in the mouth. I forgot how texture affects flavor. Even the temperature of the sushi at the proper chill. No compromises here, fresh seaweed salad; not the cut the bag & plate at most places. We couldn't stop ordering another special fare. Out take-home was the best midnight snack by the fire. Thank you so much for top culinary platings but, I am in your debt for resetting expectations and proving why Japanese cuisine it one of the 4 Crown Jewels of...
