By far, My favorite restaurant throughout our whole trip to explore Puerto Rico for my birthday trip last year. My wife and I stayed at the nearby Villa Cofresi Resort, (Which was also perfect for us.) When I asked for the best place to get a good steak and a couple drinks nearby, (Didn't want to drive.) The girl at the counter said we should try Cowboys' Cantina, it was close enough, the hotel even booked our table and provided a shuttle to the restaurant.

She was absolutely right. The food was amazing! We shared several items, everything was great, loved the steak and the Whiskey Meatballs! And the Fried Cheesecake, OMG! They also had a good selection of tasty cocktails to choose from. My wife and I are picky eaters and we were no disappointed with anything, our food was delicious and cooked to perfection!

From start to finish, the service was fantastic! Clean restaurant and the staff was friendly, attentive and they were all very entertaining. Our server, who was awesome, saw me slowing down and even offered to take one of the dishes off our bill, but I declined because it wasn't a bad dish, I just overloaded my tummy. Haha!

Bonus:The feel of being on a cowboy ranch with incredible scenery and the smell from the grills was all part of this great memory.

Overall, If I could add extra stars, I would. I highly recommend Cowboys Cantina for a phenomenal couple's...

I generally don’t write to criticize, but I think in this case I should. First, I will start with the positives. The service was excellent. The girl who attended to us was very kind and attentive. Honestly, there were only three tables occupied, and it was comfortable for her to work. But great service from her. The place is very spacious and has many signs with messages related to cattle, horses, and cowboys. Very nice.

Now, as for the food, I don’t share the same opinion. My wife ordered the Baby Back Ribs, which had no BBQ flavor at all. I don’t think they were even grilled on BBQ. My son’s filet Mignon came overcooked. What a shame for such an expensive cut of meat. I should mention that they offered to replace it, but as you know, that means waiting and eating alone at the end. My son ate it Well Done. My churrasco was the same; there wasn’t even a red part in the meat and I ordered medium. It seemed very small for the price I paid. Supposedly 8 oz.

Overall, The place is very spacious, beautiful, and outdoors. The service was good, and in my opinion the food lacks the flavor of a...

A group of four , started off right beverages appetizers, Entrees, food under season unfortunately, my daughter order a burger med rare came 1 st time raw , let’s try this again 2 nd time raw again , light pink running blood . What’s going on is the flame to high in the kitchen that it gets cooked fast in the outside but raw inside . Twice 🫣 . With all respect I don’t care what I have to pay for a dinner but I want it right . I ask to speak to manager , according to waitress that never came back to offer a second round of beverages or to see if any thing additional was needed for the entree , had to ask another waitress if she could flag down our waitress, no ketchup, salt , pepper , dressing NOTHING ( traine your waitress better ) GOING back to management! Manager was told to the waitress that she was busy . AND the establishment wasn’t even full . Shame on you as a manager .

With that said No THANK YOU ever again and will not recommend....

Wow! This is one amazing place! It's in a secluded area all by itself. Very nice setting kinda in the woods. Very rustic and country. It's an open air concept and really big. Very beautiful and well kept. They have an awesome bar and bartenders. Very attentive. Drinks were on point. Food is a bit pricey for the island but worth every penny. The steaks were cooked to perfection and so delicious! You can make a reservation if needed but it's not required and a casual place. They also can accommodate a large party. Some tables were at least for 12 as small as a table for 2. Great for kids as well. They have a few things for kids to do. Awesome place!

Thankfully Google has updated the location on their map....we walked using the directions from people at the Farmacia that was the map location a couple of weeks ago. Staff were fantastic. They arranged for return transportation after hearing that we walked. Our server was friendly, offered suggestions, and was attentive. The atmosphere is fantastic - outside in the country. We ordered the Chuleta KanKan. It lacked seasoning, but was cooked well - tender meat and crispy belly. The asparagus, although thin, was woody. The rice and beans were tasty. We will definitely return on at another time to try some of the other menu items.
