Stumbled upon this restaurant on an accidental turn. Oh my.... upon walking in you are greeted by friendly staff dressed in the cutest authentic bohemian island getup. The interior of the restaurant is charming with island vibes everywhere from its art, to its bar made of tin & wood with a tin roof awning and its instrumental boleros playing in the background. Let's talk about food...the coffee is deliciously robust & creamy. As a starter we ordered the cod fish fritters. A clever take between a bacalaito & a hush puppy. Light, pillowy & packed with flavor. Accompanied by a tartar sauce for the perfect balance between sweet & salty. We ordered the Eggs Benedict PR. Can you say yum? English muffins topped by a smokey shredded pulled pork with velvety poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Every bite was exquisite! Next we had the waffles filled with a guava cream cheese & topped with whipped cream. No syrup required!!! Best thing about this guava cream cheese was that it was just sweet enough. Not too sweet. The pralined waffles maintained crispy through the last bite. We all washed away the food with an island favorite & must have... an ice cold jugo de parcha (passion fruit juice). Totally recommend this restaurant... the chef...

Ordered my all time favorite breakfast dish - Eggs Benedict (classic), my wife a 2 egg omelet with home made toast, and Acerola juices. Upon arrival, The Eggs Benedict were visually strange to me as no English muffins were visible at all, just the poached eggs and H sauce. After investigating, The E muffin was there though, just diametrically challenged. The taste though was above average, compared to a lifetime of sampling this classic dish.
The omelette, as per la jefa, was very tasty, yet with an abundance of cheese clumps. The toast was perfect… thick, rustic, and just chewy enough to enhance a great toast experience. Perfectly porous to mop up the Eggs Benedict leftovers.
All in all for our first visit… even with all the culinary choices in Rincon, we will definitely go back...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant because others recommended it. We arrived, and there wasn't enough space inside to accommodate people, so we sat outside. The restaurant is small, and the wait time is very long. We had to wait over an hour and a half (over 90 minutes) to get our order. The place is very pricey, considering the portion of the food, and the service is slow. The food wasn't bad, but it could have been better. I definitely would not come back to this place.
The restaurant responded to this message, lying about the situation, complaining about the order size, and admitting they didn’t have the capacity or personnel to serve groups. My group was of 7. The waitress was excellent. We spent about $200 including tip. Unfortunately, the disrespectful action taken by the owner represents bad management. There are many other places with much better service and...
