Small restaurant tucked away in shopping center. The food was really good…like surprisingly good! I got the corned beef hash and banana pancakes. As someone who doesn’t like bananas I was a little nervous, however, they did a really good job of mixing the banana and a pancake batter together. It was the perfect size for a sweet treat at the end of my meal. The corn beef hash was the taste. I didn’t know I need it. The beef was tender and seasoned perfectly, the scrambled egg on top added a perfect buffer and my favorite were the hashbrowns. They were super crispy and all around. It was a really good dish. The place is small and Quaint so what it lacks in atmosphere It definitely made up for in taste and cost. If you’re in the area I highly recommend you stop by. They are no frills here it’s just good food and good people.

We had just awoke from staying overnight at the nearby Coconut Inn, who highly recommended we try Isla Restaurant for breakfast. My wife Connie had the "Crabcake Benedict", which she described as "the best she'd ever eaten, and I had "The Original" which was superb! Next time we visit from South Texas, we'll make a point to eat at your restaurant. While there, we were blessed to make a new friend, Albert "Capitan" Perez, Owner of the Rincon Mountain Bike Pro Shop. Please find out who was the gentleman who used to handcraft the Rincon Lighthouse? Surely his family is still living? I would like to pickup where he left off and learn & duplicate the lighthouses he once made by hand. My understanding is he used PVC pipe?

Small boutique-like place neat and clean; located in a local tiny shopping plaza. Great selection of egg benedicts all styles, jerk chicken and waffles was amazing, for the sweet tooth. Che Che sandwich breakfast very fulfilling and satisfying, and the Jibaro omelette was filled with generous amount of cheddar cheese and caramelized onions with great local bread toast. They serve good puerto rican coffee. Great service with a smile. Highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on an accidental turn. Oh my.... upon walking in you are greeted by friendly staff dressed in the cutest authentic bohemian island getup. The interior of the restaurant is charming with island vibes everywhere from its art, to its bar made of tin & wood with a tin roof awning and its instrumental boleros playing in the background. Let's talk about food...the coffee is deliciously robust & creamy. As a starter we ordered the cod fish fritters. A clever take between a bacalaito & a hush puppy. Light, pillowy & packed with flavor. Accompanied by a tartar sauce for the perfect balance between sweet & salty. We ordered the Eggs Benedict PR. Can you say yum? English muffins topped by a smokey shredded pulled pork with velvety poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Every bite was exquisite! Next we had the waffles filled with a guava cream cheese & topped with whipped cream. No syrup required!!! Best thing about this guava cream cheese was that it was just sweet enough. Not too sweet. The pralined waffles maintained crispy through the last bite. We all washed away the food with an island favorite & must have... an ice cold jugo de parcha (passion fruit juice). Totally recommend this restaurant... the chef...

Friday at 1100. Very attentive and friendly waitress. AC blows super cold (not a bad thing) … just be aware if you don’t like AC blowing on you. There are a few seats outside also which is a plus.

Ordered my all time favorite breakfast dish - Eggs Benedict (classic), my wife a 2 egg omelet with home made toast, and Acerola juices. Upon arrival, The Eggs Benedict were visually strange to me as no English muffins were visible at all, just the poached eggs and H sauce. After investigating, The E muffin was there though, just diametrically challenged. The taste though was above average, compared to a lifetime of sampling this classic dish.

The omelette, as per la jefa, was very tasty, yet with an abundance of cheese clumps. The toast was perfect… thick, rustic, and just chewy enough to enhance a great toast experience. Perfectly porous to mop up the Eggs Benedict leftovers.

All in all for our first visit… even with all the culinary choices in Rincon, we will definitely go back...

We visited this restaurant because others recommended it. We arrived, and there wasn't enough space inside to accommodate people, so we sat outside. The restaurant is small, and the wait time is very long. We had to wait over an hour and a half (over 90 minutes) to get our order. The place is very pricey, considering the portion of the food, and the service is slow. The food wasn't bad, but it could have been better. I definitely would not come back to this place.

The restaurant responded to this message, lying about the situation, complaining about the order size, and admitting they didn’t have the capacity or personnel to serve groups. My group was of 7. The waitress was excellent. We spent about $200 including tip. Unfortunately, the disrespectful action taken by the owner represents bad management. There are many other places with much better service and...
