Kahuna Frappé — Restaurant in Rincón

This review is about the limbers* perhaps quality has decreased due to inflation on the island? Have been coming here for many years and beginning December 2020 when I returned after a few years in the US, I felt that the quality of the limbers had gone down. Returned once again two days ago and it was very evident that they are not made the same. The passion fruit (parcha) limber used to be deliciously sour and more natural tasting and now only tastes like concentrated juice from the store. The coconut was unbearably sweet this time, we were all very disappointed and did not finish our limbers, had to throw them out. Like I said, being from PR, we've been coming here for many years but unfortunately, will not be coming back since their limbers are now just sugary ice. Maybe they've been focusing more on their frappes, but I hope they can take these reviews and improve on their recipes because Kahuna used to be the place to go...

The Frappes are delicious! My go-to flavor is corn try it. Trust me, you will love it . Prices are very reasonable. Right now, service is done by calling in your order, and they bring it out to you. It's sometimes hard to get through on the line, and it is often hard to hear the staff as the connection is somewhat static. But the staff are nice.

Since last year they have improved their phone lines it was a lot easier to hear everything on the other line. Service is very quick and the continue to offer a delicious product. Well blended no large chunks of ice. customer service is good. The only downside is that their milkshake was just a vanilla frappe. Not at all a traditional milkshake it was a blend of milk and ice with no flavor. Maybe take that...

Loved the frappés here! There’s a lot of different flavors to choose from with various toppings. I tried the guava flavor with mango and whipped cream, and I enjoyed it so much that I ordered it again the next day! You do have to call, and they will bring the order out to you.
