McDonald's — Restaurant in Rio Vista

This has to be THE slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. It was 9pm, there wasn't a lot of other vehicles in the drive through, I literally pulled right up to the ordering screen, then it took 2 minutes for them to finally come on and take my order, just 3 half cut ice teas. The 2 cars in front of me took almost 10 minutes to serve, and neither of which looked to have big orders. As I'm waiting back by the first window, i can literally see 3 employees just standing back there playing on their phones and talking. I finally pull up to the 2nd window, and that employee took another 2 minutes to come even take my payment, and seemed too busy talking and playing around with the other employees to even come to window when I pulled up, despite clearly seeing my drinks sitting there waiting already. And when he finally did, not friendly, in fact I felt very much like I was bothering him, interrupting his socializing. Just reaffirms why I don't go to McDonald's except on VERY rare occasions, and generally only when there's nothing else available. Sadly, McDonald's used to be friendly and welcoming, and had actual standards of service, including speed and efficiency...

This McDonalds had the friendliest staff that I have ever experienced at any fast food establishment. From the person who took our order to the person that gave me my food all very pleasant people. I don't know who works the 645ish pm shift on a Wednesday but that whole crew is awesome cudos to them for excellent service and to the manager putting together a great team. Even though they forgot my happy meal they apologized like 7 times and even threw in a apple pie for having us have to wait longer I wasn't even mad they were genuinely apologetic for having us wait and I felt that. All the food came out super fresh and I actually tastes the seasoning on the burger which I usually don't it's usually just the sauces I taste so that was a pleasant surprise and good job to the grill chef tonight. The fries came out fresh and weren't over salted and the Carmel frappe was super loaded with Carmel and delicious. All in all definitely recommend...

This place used to be good... but recently (as of late 2021) it has taken a turn for the worst. Not only is the service inside the store absolutely horrid but their free wifi has been offline (a.k.a. just plain not working at all) for weeks now. I often times search for McDonald's just because their reliable free wifi and clean bathrooms. So them not addressing the not working wifi for more than 3 weeks now is just B.S. I have made inquiries to management about the problem but nothing has been done. Hope this isn't a chain-wide trend and it's just a one...
