My bread of choice for every day. I’m there 2 times a week. Bread freezes well. BUT…there is a woman who works there, older, short and heavy set. When she’s there DO NOT GET LOSE ROLLS FROM HER!!!! Every single time she licks her fingers to get a bag and then picks up your bread with her saliva fingers. I heard a customer say something once before the pandemic and she went off on her. Told the customer to never come back. The taller woman who works there is kind, friendly and very clean when handling the lose rolls. They should be supplied with parchment squares to get your bread. I love de Luca bakery I worked for the original owners when I was younger it was my first job and inspired me to continue to bake . I am not sure if it is still with the original owners but I know that it has not changed since they owned it real Italian pastry and bread . I know for a fact that they deliver their fresh bread all over Burlington county and if you have eaten at any place in Riverside they all have deluca bread for their sandwiches. Literally the best place in town, 3 dollars can get you a large slice of carrot cake and 2 giant cinnamon rolls. Seasonal items become slightly more expensive, but only when compared to the low price of everything else. I've gotten enough food for large party of 20 people for less then 50 dollars. Food is amazing, genuinely some of the best baked goods I've ever had. There's a parking lot out front, usually never filled. The Lady who works at the desk is extremely nice.
