Sergio’s Restaurant and Burger — Restaurant in Riverside Township

Had a terrible experience here with this restaurant & it’s owner. First, their take out times are always longer even though they tell you over the phone that’s quick. I called and ordered something off their menu, something my wife been craving to eat. Unfortunately in this order. It contains pork which I don’t eat of religious belief’s. So I nicely asked if they could put a part of the portion food into a separate takeout box just so the pork wouldn’t mix with the rest of the food since it was all part of the “Special Combo of the Day”. The worker said it was okay and told me I could stop by in 15~20 minutes to pick up my order.

I waited 25min and headed to the restaurant to pick up my order since it’s not to far from my house. Once I got their, they asked me to wait a litte more since my order will still being “prepared”.

Well, I waited for an extra 14 minutes until a worker came out and told that they didn’t put my order through because they couldn’t do two separate take out boxes. I asked very nicely and explained the reasoning for my request. If they could ask their boss or manager if they could do this little favor for me. Lucky to me the owner was their and said “he couldn’t do that no matter the issue because it’s a combo”. I’m pretty sure you could because their made separate in the first place.

So I felt very offended and disappointed with this restaurant and it’s owner on how they would rather lose a valued customer from the neighborhood. Then literally not mix pork with the rest of the food.

I recommend any of my Muslim brothers to steer away from this business since they don’t...

The acai bowls here are on point we can mess with em.The people are cool they just dont understand much english but that aint about nothing ya dig cause with technology its always a plus lol.Plus my wife Brazilian so when she go with me i have her talk too em.Lets get back too it n why i gave 3 stars smdh.There food is hit or miss for me just speaking on my experience with the hand full of times i been.There expensive Brazilian steak dishes was on point the first time i ever went too check em out n the beans n rice n collards n yucca but the 2nd time it was a pure waiste of money wasnt nothing seasoned at all when i got the same dish i got last time n i was pissed off i had too literally dr it up cause like i said my wife brazilian so i had too bust out them brazilians seasonings lol .I said nope im not spending no damn 23-25 dollars on a dish that taste blan and no flavor. There burger taste like too much cheap ground beef i didnt really like that at all so ill pass on that as well. But there desserts are good 👍 n the people over they seem cool.Oh n them empinada/pastels are too damn greasy smdh cant mess with them neither all that damn grease do is tear me n my son stomach up smdh so ill stay away from buying any food from them moving forward just maybe dessert every once in a while but go check em out see for your self good luck maybe your experience will be better who...

This review is purely based on my order of the burger which may not reflect the other Brazilian dishes well. Although I only tried their Brazilian styled burger, this local restaurant looks like they offer some nice authentic Brazilian dishes. If I am ever back in the area, I will be sure to try their Brazilian steak dishes and more.

X-Tudo combo 3/5 – The size of the burger was nice but the patty was quite bland. The ham, cheese, corn, and egg, did not add enough flavor, though it added a wonderful texture. Those toppings were not well seasoned. If you pair it with the special mayonnaise (green). The fries were really crunchy but not as well seasoned.

Meat and Cheese Empanada 4/5- Really flavorful filling and crunchy crust. The size was quite large for the price as well. It is a fried dough as in some of the styles in other Latin American countries. The filling is among the better meat fillings for an empanada I have tried. I am not sure if this is a traditional Brazilian style empanada, but it is really something I can recommend getting...
