Denny's — Restaurant in Riverside

Edit: I would recommend the Denny's location on Madison compared to this one. Much better there.

Not a good experience. I love dennys but this location is probably the worst in this area. It was a little busy but not the busiest I've seen. The wait time was reasonable, it was just my daughter and I. We had the choice of a table or booth and it didn't matter so I chose a table. The manager was seating us and asked if I'd like a coffee or anything. I said yes please 2 waters is all. And nearly 10 minutes went by with no waters and no waitress. Finally the woman that was serving the tables nearby said she would be right with us. When she returned she took our drink order and I said we were ready so we put in the food order as well. Almost another 10 minutes and we got our drinks. Daughter didn't get a straw for her juice and drank the whole cup before we saw any food. Once it did arrive I asked for another juice and a straw. My french toast was cold and hard and the butter didn't even melt. I couldn't chew the one bite that I took. I spoke to the manager to remove it from my order as I didn't want to wait for a new French toast to come by so I payed there and we left. Walked in and the employees didnt even notice. One of the employees shift was over so she left but didnt even bother saying "he'll be right with you" or even a simple hello, really looked like she didnt wanna be there. When we finally got seated our table was sticky as if it didnt get cleaned up from the last people who sat there. It was only me and my boyfriend and then there was another table with a family of 5 and that was all. The guy took awhile to come to our table and ask us what we wanted to drink and eat when he finally did he didnt give us our drinks until later when we go our food. The utensils given were not clean! My fork was sticky and had a piece of paper dried up in between. I ordered moons over my hammy and the bread was so soggy and the egg was not fully cooked. My boyfriend got the super slam and there was a piece of hair on his plate. Waiter not once asked if we wanted any more drinks or how we were doing. Service was just awful would never go back to this dennys. He only had 2 tables to serve and he was not attentive to either of the tables, moved very slow and was...

My husband and I just visited this location because we had a coupon from the mail, and I came home to immediately write a review on how excellent our service was thanks to Jack! When we walked in we were greeted right away, sat, and Jack took our drink orders all in one swift motion. My husband got the lumberjack combo with well done ham and hash browns, and I got the 5 pepper burger without the five pepper sauce, but with a side of the bourbon sauce. First off, the bourbon sauce is to die for and I think that’s all I’ll be getting from now on! It was absolutely amazing. Jack made sure our order was correct, got us the additional sauces/napkins we asked for, refilled our drinks, and checked on us a few different times over the duration of our meal. Honestly, he gave some of the best service I’ve had in quite some time, so I wanted to come and let management know they have a gem working for them! :) Bill came out to $36, coupon brought it down to $28, and we tipped Jack $10 because we were very pleased with how he handled us.
