El Habanero Mexican Food — Restaurant in Riverside

I love the food here but some of the younger employees don't know what they're doing. They've messed up my order more times than I can remember. There were 2 occasions where I ordered a wet burrito in red sauce with asada and added sour cream and guac and the first time they made it in green sauce so I had to wait for them to make a whole new burrito after I called in advance to avoid the wait. And one time when they remade my burrito in the red sauce they forgot the sour cream and guac so to avoid me waiting longer they just gave me the sour cream and guac separate. Then the last time I went I had gone to get my free burrito for the punch card and I had all the things signed off except one and the guy told me it would have to be collected on my next visit but never signed the card. Then I went back again to collect my free burrito and they told me I needed all of the squares to be signed and they signed the last square and told me I'd have to claim it on my next visit. I told them what happened the last time and they didn't do anything about it. So I just paid for my order and I realized they forgot my other horchata as I ordered 2 but the girl at the register gave it to me for free so that was a plus but I haven't...

Have been coming here for 4 years, usually get their asada fries and a torta special, today is the first time I ordered the same exact special I have been for 4 years and it did not include the drink, I asked as this was never the case, a girl I've never seen as cashier says none of them come with drinks, I understand the fries don't but usually when I get a torta special it's about 10 bucks because a drink is included with fries, well this one CAME WITH NO FRIES OR A DRINK, too bad I didn't notice there was any fries when I was in restaurant, as I usually take out and this has never happened, paid 31 dollars for 2 half orders of asada fries and 1 carnitas special that came with just the torta nothing else. Sad to say that after 4 years I will not be returning, I was just here 2 days ago and ordered the same exact items but apparently the items on the menu that I was ordering for 4 years have changed in a couple days. Let me start by saying I was already in a bad mood even having to come here. I was Dead set on getting some birria for my sunday breakfast but my regular spot had such a long line that I was unable to wait. So logically I hoped on yelp to find another Mexican spot. I found this place actually pretty close to my other spot.

They have a limited menu, and the floor plan is cramped with not much seating. After ordering 3 tacos and a medium drink I was standing around playing tetris, and boom before I realize it, it's been over 15 minutes waiting for 3 measly tacos!!! Horrible. Finally I get my tacos, and the cup for my drink. FML... they are out of ice. I'm seething by this point.

I get to my car, bite into that first taco and man, I have to admit, it was one of the best carne asada tacos ever. I'm not some jerk that doesn't know his tacos. Trust me, these are legit. They are the 1 redeeming quality of this place. I will be...
