My husband got the Cheeseburger Quesadilla with French Fries and a side of Salsa and Sour Cream with a cup of Water & I ended up getting the Chicken Parmesan Melt with French Fries with Gravy on the side and a Peanut Butter Milkshake. In my opinion; My Pros: The gentlemen that had taken our order was phenomenal, extremely kind, very patient with us (cuz we couldn’t make up our minds on what we wanted lol), and seemed as if he was in good spirits and very happy!! Inside was decorated in old school memorabilia and was small but very cute & I absolutely adore and love how they kept it like older day/school diner look and feel of the place! Prices weren’t too shabby for what you get for the most part! Their Peanut Butter Milkshakes: Now that right there was a million and 1x out of this world and honestly was the best thing I had while we were there & it was more than just absolute amazing goody yummy deliciousness!!!! In my opinion; My Cons: The Cheeseburger Quesadilla-Was good but if they would have drained the grease from meat a bit it would have been perfect! The Chicken Parmesan Melt-Honestly I’m NOT even sure where to begin with this one……I tried a bite an something just didn’t taste right. So I then made my husband (who’s Italian) try it & he couldn’t even swallow it and he too thought something wasn’t right with it. I scraped off all the cheese and all the sauce and I only ate the Chicken Tenders (to which were really good all on their own though lol šŸ™ƒ)

Semi truck drivers the east side of the road route 54 approximately 200 feet you can park on the side of the road by the railroad 23 years and counting, but the place has been here for 75 or more. The ice cream window is the original 50s window and the restaurant was built on in the 70s. I have never had a scrambled egg with one egg in the center of it, but it was amazing. I call it the sockeye scrambled. Everybody, you see in here we're busting their B…… LS I guess one of them I don't I didn't hear him make one bad joke but they said he makes bad jokes come in here. They had good laughs going apparently Rose is seated by herself. Scotty and her came in together and I thought it sounded like a drink they should make here the Scotty Rose Thanks you guys. It was an amazing time and what's the dish and yes, there is a dish named after Scotty the Sun the Scotty fries. Everybody hasn't food named after them the mothers June chef salad And the Scotty burger these Oliver involved in the Braveheart land when the scotts decided not to take any more crap they fought for freedom And Don said don't forget him he says he's the glue that holds this place together. He learned it from his CD days at Applebee's late night just teasing. I know none of these people I made all this up but it's the truth a lot of of it just the part about Dan DON Siri wants to call him Dan .He's got quite a personality. Amen Paul Harvey would say great things about this place.

Where do I begin… We stopped here for breakfast one morning traveling through Danville, as the diner looked like it had good food. Before I get into the many negatives, I must say that one of our waiters was very nice. BUT the coffee tasted like water, you only got two small pancakes for $10 that were not cooked through, the scrapple was not cooked properly (supposed to be crispy, it was soggy), and the OM eggs may as well have been sunny side up. A classic breakfast with two pancakes and two coffees, no tip, was $28!!!!! At Heiseys Diner you get the same with three pancakes for $13.99…. Then upon exiting, the other waiter/cook decided to lay into us about ā€œBiden’sā€ inflation problem and how this inflation problem reduced our quality of food. He said that this issue is happening everywhere across the country. That people are reducing the quality of their food because of inflation and rising costs. Instead of arguing with him, we shook our heads and got out. We should of told him, ā€œyou’re right the quality of the food and coffee sucked and your real problem is that paper figure you have standing up in the cornerā€ (see photo for details). All in all, skip this place.

My family and I have been going to Heeter's for many years. They are very nice unless there is a mistake in your order. On my last visit I ordered a fudge brownie sundae with cappuccino crunch ice cream. First, they gave me a large cappuccino crunch in a container and a fudge brownie with vanilla soft serve. When I told the young man about the mistake at first he didn't seem to understand what I had ordered. Then he got annoyed that I didn't want the sundae and took it back. Three more of our orders came out, there were five orders in total, and I'm still waiting for the sundae and the small chocolate my nephew ordered. Other people came, they ordered and were served...still waiting. Finally I go up to the window and tell them to forget about the sundae, I was already over it. I asked if they could just get the soft serve so we could leave. Another young man said they were making the sundae right now. I pointed out that we still needed a small chocolate in a cone, which was the first thing we ordered. The guy shrugs his shoulders and says "I don't know what you ordered". They finally bring out chocolate cone and the sundae. I tell them I don't worry about a refund. A young lady says I would get a refund anyway that they actually under charged me because the soft serve is actually less than the hand dipped sundae. I told her I understand that but they also charged me for the large cappuccino crunch. It went over her head and instead of listening to what I was saying she repeats the same thing. I was done and left. It was such a frustrating situation that didn't have to be. I didn't yell. I waited patiently. I definitely did not deserve to treated like that. The over charge was 4 dollars, not worth me staying there and trying to make my point. The two young man laughed as I left. Super disappointed with the whole experience and probably won't be...
