Today was my first time eating at this restaurant. I had been wanting some Chinese food but due to most having MSG as a main ingredient I have to pass. When I pulled up I immediately noticed that this was a No-MSG establishment that cooks food to order and they have steam table varieties for quick take-out. The lady running the front end of the restaurant was helpful and reassuring. Some may take her persona as rude, but I feel she is very direct and takes pride in her business. I ordered two different varieties of house lo mein, an order of house fried rice, and a strawberry boba. The gentleman that prepared my order knows what he's doing in the kitchen because he prepared it just as I had asked. The food was not salty or overly seasoned which I could appreciate. I definitely plan to visit Ho Choy's Chinese Food again...

Read moreOne of the last few remaining hole in the wall mom & pop restaurants. Food is excellent, I always feel really good after eating there, unlike other places that bog you down or make you feel sick. They have some awesome cook to order items (like egg foo young) I totally recommend! What's not to love about huge portions of savory Chinese food that can feed a whole family? Or have enough for left overs? These guys have been in the game for a while and sadly the economy just keeps pushing for corporate America. There won't be any decent restaurants left. Give Ho Choys a try! It's...
