On our annual trip to Gulf Shores, we arrived this time in time to try out the donuts here - normally we arrive later in the afternoon and they're closed. The donuts melt in your mouth. I tried the maple, plain yeast, and blueberry cake. They were all three great. I judge donut shops by the glazed yeast. This shop passed with highest marks.
There is coffee here too, but I didn't try it. The people were pleasant to deal with. The store smell started from the outside with that 'fresh-baked-donut' smell. When I opened the door, I knew I was in for a treat.

Strong enough to wake the dead and keep me from snapping in this crazy summer traffic.
