B&K Drive-In — Restaurant in Rochester

First timer. Wasnt impressed. We got a bacon cheeseburger, a BLT, 2 walking tacos and a coney cheese dog,

First off the menu was way too big took forever to look at all of it and decide! 30 side items! Way to much!

Burger: the burger was dry and it tasted as if t The bacon was microwaved. And small.

Blt: barley any lettuce and mayo, loaded with microwaved bacon and tomato was was to big. Probably the worst BLT lt i ever had. And the hamburger bun was the wrong bun to use!

The coney cheese dog: it was okay nothing special. Gave my husband heartburn..

Now the walking tacos!!! The bomb! So good! But who can mess up a walking taco! Perfect amount of everything:) That why this i gave the review 2 stars bc of this item right here!!

Stopped by kind of late on a Saturday and the place was packed. I figured that was a good sign they had good food. I was starving but didn't have much cash and was buying dinner for me and my 2 daughter. I ended up ordering like a 12 pack of coney dogs and some root beer. I was starving and looked over the menu again and realized they had so much food there I wanted to order. Like the walking taco and deep fried greenbeans but I didn't have enough cash. Anyways I got home and we ate the coney dogs and they were delicious. Root beer was really great too. I need to go back to this place again. Took about 30 minutes for my order but like I said the place was packed and there was no more parking spots. Great food, good prices but I'd recommend going...

Coming home from Indianapolis, I decided to take a short detour at Rochester to the B&K Drive-In where I had read they had good tenderloin sandwiches. I ordered a hand-breaded tenderloin and a root beer. It was the absolute best tenderloin that I have ever eaten (and I have eaten many)! Only complaint is that it was served with chopped onions instead of sliced, which made for quite a mess while eating it in the car, but I will definitely be back when I am passing by Rochester. Also one word of warning: their drive-in stalls are rather narrow. I have just a mid-size SUV and it was very tight...
