Rochester dining — Restaurant in Rochester

This place used to be a pretty good place to get lunch. All I see now is much lower food quality while increasing the price on the customer's end. Some of the waitress staff talks down to you if you don't "blend in" with the town folk it seems.... or their demeanor toward you can be rather off-putting. I hear a lot of gossip going on between the staff as well. The owner/manager seems to think I must work there, as he was just too lazy to even direct us to a table today.

My friend and I had previously eaten here a few times a week for a several years. I stopped going months ago when I ordered meatloaf and was given pan scraps covered in gravy at full price. Today was a test run... and it just solidified my previous thought - I just won't be back.

Also, if you ask a customer if they would like a refill, do NOT act like it's a burden to you and then expect a good tip. Almost $3 for a drink here, I could buy a 2 liter for the same price.

And don't make customers wait to pay their bill for 4-5 minutes while you are standing in the back ignoring the cash register. I'm sorry paying my bill was such an inconvenience to everyone there. You won't have to worry about that in the future from me.

Literally perfect across the board. You go in and get seated quickly, they take your order, fresh hot food comes out QUICK! Always within 5-10 minutes, you will not wait long for your food. The food is always delicious and again hot and fresh, it’s not sitting for 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to pick it up. Don’t feel like going out but want the food? That’s okay! Call in and order to go! Every time I order to go, it’s ready within 5-10 mins!! Unbelievably fast and excellent service! I’ve lived in Minnesota, lived in Arizona, and also here in Indianan. This place has left the biggest impression by far. More than fair...

We went here for the lunch buffet. It was okay. Not much to write home about. The cold bar had lettus with 3 different dressings to choose from and about 6 toppings. There was some desert on the cold bar too. Then the hot bar had ribs, fried chicken, chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and peach cobbler. The cobbler was really good. The rest was okay. For the price, it's not bad food. The service was what you'd expect from a small town diner. Super...
