Tweedlee D's — Restaurant in Rochester

We stopped in on our way thru town around 9:25am. We were third in line and were sat down within 20 minutes. The waitress promptly took our orders. After waiting over 1 hour I overheard one of the waitresses telling a guest behind us that the kitchen was 1.5 hours behind on all breakfast orders but it would be quicker if they got lunch.

I asked one waitress how long it would be and she said it's a holiday and she'd check. On her way back another patron asked how long their meal would be because her husband is diabetic. The waitress walked away talking down about the lady in front of the whole restaurant LoUDLy. About the NERVE of people expecting it to be anything less than a wait. That guest left in tears and her husband was extremely embarrassed. I asked the waitress why we were not informed of the wait when we ordered and she gave a line about it being a normal Sunday and that they don't typically serve breakfast past 10am. Heads up, thats not on the menu and they DO NOT OFFER THAT INFO upon entering or ordering.

They didn't honor my gift card. Don't buy gift cards here. The recipient you give them too will have to pay out of pocket. Very disappointed in how I was treated because their machine could not read my gift card. Food wasn't great either. Long wait *UPDATE I bought the gift card in November of 2018 at a cancer benefit. I do not live in Rochester. So couldn't make it there. Not to mention the weird hours they are open. Plus covid happened. You would think they would honor any & all of their gift cards. Went for my birthday with a group of 8 and with my grandchild and they rushed us the entire time. My daughter didn’t even get to look at the menu and they were in her face asking what she wanted 3 times ! She ordered a burrito real quick and they gave it to her and she didn’t realize it had gravy inside . They then rushed her to order something else and charged her for both meals . Even though she only took 2 bites out of the burrito before she said something. We were very courteous and they were so rude and rushed us out the door .
