It pains me to have to give such a poor review for a place that is generally pretty consistently good. However, tonight's experience was so bad I just can't let it slide. I called in and ordered 2 sandwiches and mozz sticks, was told 30 minutes. It took well over an hour and I watched several people walk in, place a new order, and get their food before me. Obviously my order got lost somewhere as they didn't even start making it til about 45 minutes in when I finally said something. When I got home I found that the marinara sauce had exploded and soaked into the sandwiches. The mozzarella sticks were also exploded (see pic). Every last one was completely empty on the inside. I get that stuff happens, I worked in restaurants for years. That said, I think waiting over an hour for exploded food is worthy of at least offering a coupon or discount on the next order to try to make up for it, but no such offer was made. The saving grace was that the parts of the sandwiches that didn't get hosed with marinara were great, and like I said, past experiences have been nothing but awesome. I hope this isn't the start of a downward trend.

If I could I would give this no stars I ordered a steak bomb with extra meat and cheese and mushrooms and pickles and it was so soggy that it fell apart when I tried to pick it up to eat it and the paper it was wrapped in was so wet it fell apart too I have been going here for years and I've never really had a problem with it but after this happened to me I called and asked if it could be remade for me because it was nasty how soggy it was and the lady and her manager said they couldn't remake it. This is not what I'm used to from here but I guess they have new standards now!

Ordered a small pepperoni and an order of mozzarella sticks. Mozzarella sticks were excellent, perfectly cooked and the marinara was delicious. The pizza, however, had way too much cheese on it (I didn't think that was possible). It was so thick, the crust was soggy. It was still delicious and a good value, and they're usually better than that, so 4 stars.

Called for a to go pick up order the girl taking the order was very friendly. She read our order back. Our order was ready in 20 minutes my large deluxe steak sub was hot and delicious with shaved steak. My wife had a small chicken salad sub and it was as large as my steak sub. We had a large order of onion rings that were nice and crispy and the batter stayed on the rings. We had a Greek salad that was fresh with crisp lettuce, pepperonecinis, kalamata olives, cucumbers, and slivered carrots. This would have been a five star review but for the desert. I couldn't believe that a small pizza and sub shop offered baklava for desert so I orded a double which were two pieces, unfortunately I was a little disappointed with it. The two pieces were pretty dry like it had been a few days old. Other than the desert we were very happy with our dinner and highly recommend the Village Pizza and will be returning again especially during football season cause they deliver! Thanks Village pizza for...
