Overall, it was a great experience, with just a few small hiccups. This was our first visit to Wild Willy's Burgers, and our family of 5 was famished. We ordered a variety of foods, hot dogs, and a burger, both off the kid' menu. Cheesy fries, herb fries, sweet potato fries, a Willy Burger, a bison salad, and a smokehouse burger with local fresh beef. There were even 3 different shakes and a raspberry lime ricky in our sights. The only drawback was a couple of small mistakes: the cheesy fries weren't cheesy. A burger ordered with no tomato or onion (add bacon) had onion, but no bacon. The staff did correct thi, but they wanted to be sure that's actually how I ordered it (grateful I accepted the receipt). They were friendly and quick with the remedy, and the food overall was very well done. We're looking forward to coming back again. The sweet potato fries and herb fries were amazing! My wife said the salad was ok, but not spectacular, and the burgers were all a hit (I'm told still not better than mine by the 11 y/o, so I've got THAT going for me!) We had a family of 5, ordered 5 entrées, 3 shakes, 1 lime ricky, and 3 orders of fries. Our total was about $95. I'd say the value for the...
Read moreI’ve been there a few times and always enjoyed the burgers, good selection and meat choices, especially good gluten free bun. Service has always been a little strange, you have to order at the register, if you just sit down at the bar you are ignored, knowing this, I went there today and went straight to the menus to the left of the registers, was not greeted, while i decided what to order a group of people came in behind me and were immediately greeted and served, by this time I had decided what to order but still seemed to be ignored, figured I had to join the back of the line as more people had arrived, at this point another server attended the second register made eye contact with me and asked if I am with them? I said no I’m by myself is that ok? Then a blue haired nose pieced chick on the other register said no it’s not ok we don’t cater to lonely people here, so I responded ok see you later and left. I understand she was probably joking but I was already slightly annoyed, also how rude is it to assume that because I’m there alone that I am lonely!? All I wanted was a burger on their good gluten free bun. I went home and made my own burgers. Disappointed. I...
Read moreBEST BURGERS IN NEW ENGLAND!
I know those are bold words, but know I don't say them lightly. I personally love food yet find burgers a bit bland, but I will drop anything in an instant if I hear Wild Willy's! I've been to many restaurants and had many burgers, and nobody, I repead NOBODY holds a candle to Wild Willy's! They're staff is super kind and friendly, they're very accommodating to people with dietary restrictions, and I swear they use the freshest of ingredients for an amazing price. Their rootbeer floats are fantastic, their pickles are phenomenal, and their burgers... whether they're beef, bison, or chicken are unmatched by any burger you'll get in New England. I say NE because they have multiple locations and in a pinch I tried a location in southern Maine and my experience was just as great! I've been coming to Wild Willy's with friends and family for over a decade now and anyone I mention them to rave equally about them as I do. 10/10, you can't go wrong when you eat at (or takeout) at...
