Really great tasting food with very quick service.

I was not pleased with having my face dotted with whip cream because whipped cream has fat in it that stained my shirt although it did not leave a stain on my pants. However, some of it ended up on the chair and I tracked it on to my cars leather seats. The seats also required cleaning. It was my birthday so I appreciated the free dessert that I shared with the other members of my party. The state of the sombrero's cleaniness is anyone's guess.

I ordered a strawberry daiquiri which was made with tequila and not rum. From California to Maine to Miami and Key West, every daiquiri I have ever tasted was made with rum. I have drank hundreds of daiquiris and margaritas and the daiquiris are always made with rum and the margaritas are always made...

I dont know where people are getting authentic from in the reviews.. I think the lack of options in the area is clouding people's minds a bit. Nothing authentic about Sysco foods frozen meat slices, canned refried beans, and add water and msg rice... not to mention half the staff looks angry and dont talk back to you and just ignore you, but the worst part is the dirty ceiling tiles, wall trim with grease prints, and light fixtures with only half the lights not burnt out.. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.. I tried 3 times to give then an honest review and this last time all I ordered was a fried ice cream and that tasted so old and stale I couldn't choke it down... as a Latino myself id say a Canadian could cook Mexican food better than this place,...

Authentic Mexican place. Quite similar to others in the region. Home made salsa along with chips to start you off while looking through the menu. Friendly place, and staff stayed on top of what was going on. Menu has plenty of options, and you can get a combination meal, or order individual items, some with beans and rice, and others not. You’re sure to find something that will interest you in trying. Place is fairly decent sized, and felt clean. I don’t believe there are any other Mexican restaurants in Rock Rapids to compete with, but this place still does a great job at trying to maintain a 1st place experience, even though there isn’t really any competition....
