Saddle Lite Saloon — Restaurant in Rock Springs

As soon as our group stepped in there, the bartender was completely rude to us (she has burgundy hair, I don’t know her name) when she asked for our IDs, you could tell she was extremely irritable at us for some odd reason, but we still showed everything to her. Five minutes later, after we set everything down we walk up to the bar and we tried getting her attention about 3-4 times (she was talking to her friends at the bar, it also wasn’t busy at all) it was almost like she was completely ignoring us on purpose. When were finally able to order our drinks, I told her what I wanted, and in a teasing manner she said “no you can’t have that” (even though we knew she really wasn’t joking) we all still laughed just so we could actually get our drinks made. While we stood at the bar and watched her, it took her 10 minutes to make one drink (I had no idea that talking to your friends in the middle of making a customers order is more important that actually doing your job?) Overall, I understand if you have a job and don’t want to be there, but at the same time I don’t feel like it’s hard to control your attitude and your behavior towards other people. Got to hear some of my favorite old friends sing their hearts out. Since country genre is really not my thing one of my favorite friends made the gesture of ordering up some pantera to sing to me before I left. There were these little clear shot glasses that kept appearing atvthe bar top on either side of me tho. It took me a few to have it explained they were comp drinks the bartender omwas supplying. Suddenly the fact that I had bought a drink for all my friends when I showed up..... i bought a round of drinks my friend was buying when she discovered her wallet was empty. It was me that had refilled the drink for my friend that had hit the karaoke stage several times and sounded horse. Ibjad gotten all these drinks from the same solo bartender. I had complimented her art of the bloody Mary....and as a general rule I tip well. Note to bartenders with these comp drinks....maybe toss the one girl in the crowd of 8-10 that is buying the drinks and tipping you would enjoy some random complimentary sip of something special too. Not bad of place if you want to sit with a skin headed that was wearing a swastika on his hat. Married to the bartender. I’ll never go back. Hate cannot be tolerated!
