We called a week before to make a reservation for 20 people. We were told we had a room that our party would be in that seats 35. An assumption was made on our part that the room would be for just our group so when a few more family members said they would be able to join, no additional phone call was made, which we should have called. The Stockholm Inn had another party of 11 seated in the same room with us, which logistically made sense. We should have called to update our reservation. When we all got there and it was identified that we needed more seats were needed the restaurant was able to shuffle some things around and accommodate us. So we were in room with another party of 11 which had the same reservation time as we did, 10 am and only one waitress for both parties. Being a member of a large party you expect the food order to take some time, but 20 minutes after the party of 11 had finished their food and we still hadn’t received ours, our group started to ask questions. Shortly, the food did come out. As the waitress and fellow members of the Stockholm Inn staff started to distribute the food, what was on the plate was being called out to find its owner. As a reminder, there were about 35 people in this room, and 11 of them were finished with their meals, so it was loud. We couldn’t all hear what was being called out and our main waitress at minimum of 3 times in an angry tone said, “Does no one remember what they ordered!?” When in fact we did remember what we ordered, we simply could not all hear her. After all the food was distributed the waitress then continued to have a negative attitude and blamed the kitchen. When in fact, we all had received the correct orders, there wasn’t an issue for our party from the kitchen. At the end of the meal, my group had one check. The matriarch of my group paid the bill and left a 20% tip. You pay your bill at the front counter and the person behind the front counter entered the tip incorrectly giving a less than 1% tip. Let me start by saying this I, was totally FLABBERGASTED when I seen the size of my GLUTEN-FREE PANCAKES, yes not only do they offer a number of gluten-free options, you just have to ask for them because you will not see them on the menu, but all of their foods was in very good proportion sizes!!! During a time when everybody is giving you less, and making you pay more, that's not true here at Stockholm inn!!! So come in an empty stomach, and wobble your way out especially on the weekends, and bring the whole family!!! They have an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET!!! Oh my goodness even though it's a small buffet, you will be pleased with the options, and you will also be very satisfied with the service even on the weekends when they are bombarded because of the buffet the staff is so very nice and accommodating I have no problem with giving them a 25% tip!!! I can't say much about the atmosphere because all I saw was food and people!!! I was too busy looking at other people's plates, and all the food that they had on them!!! So much deliciousness that my eyes were taking in, and again the prices are very affordable, and not just on weekdays!!! If you choose to eat from the menu on the weekends you have plenty of affordable options!!! Once you see that buffet tho, you will not choose the menu, I thought I HAD TO CHOOSE FROM THE MENU until I found out from one of the wonderful waitresses, I can eat what I want from the buffet LIKE THE BACON, SAUSAGE, EGGS, ECT. and ask for the GLUTEN FREE BUTTERMILK PANCAKES TO BE COOKED! Read moreRight before Christmas, my nephews n I went to get some breakfast/buffet. We were told that the buffet didn't open til 8am . No worries we were early by 15mins. Ok we said we would be back went to fill cars up with gas n came back . The waitress by the name of Diana who had told us that the buffet didn't open til 8am waited on is when we came back, will when we got back her whole attitude towards us had changed from the first time we were there. Her attitude was like we discussed her, so I asked why we couldn't sit in the buffet area , cuz it was already past 8am ,she Saud it wasn't open . I told Diana that's why we left n came back .I then asked Diana what was wrong that her whole attitude was like she didn't even want us eating here . I then told Diana was it because we were Latinos n her dumbfound look Said it all . So left and went n spent our good money at Johnny Pamcakes. So this still didn't sit well with me .. so I called left my name n phone number for manager n owner Mr Carrie.. he didn't get back to me til 2days later . Explained to him what happened thst day I went in . He sounds like he was blowing me off ,he apologized for her took my address n send he would send me something through the mail , til this day have not received anything from Stockholm inn . Even when I called back I ended up speaking to one of their Hispanic employees, and she remembered us going there that Saturday morning n when we came back n that she saw how we were treated by Diana n that same employee stated that's how Diana treats them her own coworkers Saud thst Diana is a racist person, Diana does not like the Mexican customers . N for management not getting back to me when I spoke the him myself n he took my information down . N 2nd time I spoke to a Jessica n o gave her my information to give to management n still nothing...
