Stumpy's Pub — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Had never visited this spot. Our household enjoys pub trivia and saw an ad that Stumpy's was offering it. It's a cute little pub, can see it being a favorite after-work hangout for locals. Autumn was our bartender and she was just the sweetest. You can order food from Maciano's next door and enjoy it while you drink, or enjoy a beer, chips, and hot dog special from Stumpy's with homemade relish. I also saw their screen offered a "you get what you get" canned beer/drink special for $3. I tried that and thought it was pretty fun! Got a drink I would have never asked for, but I tried something new, and hey, getting to try little new things can be part of the spice of life. First time at this place of business. Honestly . . I give it a negative 4.

First, the website states they have a menu. That far from the truth; it's another resturant and YOU have to order over the phone for your food. Yes, you call the order in. Stumpys DOES NOT serve food!!!!

Second, they have multiple health violations. They let their bartenders work in filp flops. FLIP FLOPS!! I can only imagine what wouls would happen when a glass would break and their in flip flops, I saw a bartender lift her leg up and set it down on the serving station behind the bar several times, and the wait to pay was laughable. I seriously could have walked out and not played for my beer.
