Don't go to Zammutos they have a kiosk machine that you have to order on now. Can’t give a person your order for the ice cream. The kiosk machine does not work properly either. I used the kiosk machine had to first off figure out how to make a firecracker and how to change my order to remove one mud sundae for just chocolate ice cream in a cup with gummy worms. That’s when Zina H came out to help with that part but kept insisting that I should use my card at the kiosk machine instead of just paying it at the front window. Anyways I paid at the kiosk with my card I signed it and asked for print receipt and nothing printed out for the order I made of $29.03 for the ice cream. My kids were upset I was upset we waited in line just to order on a kiosk machine that doesn’t work properly. Then to get help from a Zamuttos employee. Then the server Zina H going to tell me she don’t see that order of the 29.03 from the kiosk and wanted to charge me again for it. I was thankfully smart to tell her to cancel that partial payment of the 11.66 because they already took 29.03. She kept saying no they didn’t, but as of today that 29.03 has posted on my bank statement but yet I did get the refund for the 11.66 the same day Zina H refunded back to my card for trying to charge me double like I didn’t pay the first time from the kiosk machine. I also noticed that Zina H was going off the old receipt order that didn’t have the change in ice cream that she helped remove and add just the chocolate ice cream in a cup with gummy worms. The 11.66 refund was on the old receipt not the new one that was made that she changed in the kiosk system that I got charged 29.03. I was right Zina H was trying to charge me for the old receipt of 29.59 with the three mud sundae’s 1 small unusual and one medium unusual before the new change she helped me made on the kiosk with only two mud sundaes and one unusual, one granita and one chocolate ice cream in a cup with worms that came out to 29.03 without tip. I just want my money back on ice cream I never got for my kids and I of the 29.03!!

I have tried calling the corporate office and left a voicemail of this horrible experience and I even today called Zammutos and no one has called me back about this situation!! Whatever you do DON’T PAY WITH YOUR CARDS AT ALL AT THE KIOSK MACHINE!!! I will not be returning. Now I remember why it’s been five years that I haven’t been there and to think Saturday 4/27/24 after church rehearsal things would have been different...

UPDATE: 06/10/24 If you're like me and have been dying for the BEST FRIED CATFISH, I dare say in all of Winnebago County, then you have better head to Zammuto's!!! YES, YOU HEARD ME RIGHT... ZAMMUTO'S!!!

The quality of catfish Zina is cooking over there is better than anything you will find at any DaCatch, J&J's, or anywhere else. It's flavorful, fresh-tasting, breaded just right, and fried to perfection.

The next time you have a hankering for some delicious catfish, don't you run yourself over to those other joints with that bogus excuse for catfish. Go get the real stuff!!

Just know that once you've had it, you're hooked, and you won't want to go anywhere else for it!

If you are looking for the most refreshing and sinfully delicious frozen treats this side of town, then you are looking for Zammuto's. The variety of granitas and ice creams are very good, and when you mix them together. maaaan, are you in for a real treat.

The item that they famously call "The Unusual" is the way to go. Where they layer their ice cream with the granita (which if I had to try to describe what granita is, the only thing I could come up with would be the perfect texture between a sorbet and a lemon ice).

However, I will warn you...

If that sort of delicacy is your thing... once you have The Unusual, you will never be the same afterward. You will find yourself out and about running errands and out of nowhere... Zammuto Minions suddenly take over your steering wheel, and before you know it, you're in their parking...

Spend your money elsewhere. This place use to be great and was once owned by our family member, Joe Zammuto. I was both sad and disgusted by our experience today and my family will NEVER come here again. Zero customer service. You are forced to order at kiosks vs face-to-face with an employee. When we tried to pay cash, we were told to pay by card; however, again we could not pay an employee and were directed back to the kiosk. Nobody offered to help. Finally, when we told the owner that we couldn’t figure out the kiosk and would need to take our business elsewhere, they said “Ok. Have a nice day”… no offer to help, no apology, and clearly in no need for...
