The view from The Top is 12 floors above it all! Breathtaking... If nothing on the limited menu catches your eye sip some whiskey and enjoy the view.

We started outside where the view is quite distracting, but ended up inside from the clouds and wind-chill. Plan accordingly.

Our server Caitlin was helpful, attentive, and had a good sense of when to clear the table and supply refreshments without being excessively present. Thank you.

The cocktails were delicious! The flavors were all masterfully paired! We tried all of them. My favorites were by far the Davis Park Daiquiri and the Firedoor if you can handle the fresh bite from a jalapeno you'll love the first sip of this drink! It starts off sweet and bites your lip at the end just enough to remind you to live in the moment!

We tried three appetizers!

The Chorizo Fundido! Very delicious! A bit of a workout to eat! It's not for those who fear a bit of greasy food either! The flavors were delicious paired really well with the peta bread, I'd say the downfalls are portioning out enough cheese to peta ratio to make the amount of peta they give you match the cheese and chorizo.

The Calamari Strips, While I'm personally not a fan of anything seafood. I tried one of these and they were not bad! Not something I'd personally order but the seafood enthusiasts wolfed them down! The lemon on top was a refreshing addition.

The Sweet and Spicy Shrimp, I did not try the shrimp part but heard it was "F*ing delicious" from the seafood loves. I can however say the chips they come on top of were very flavorful and delicious!

After having all those appetizers we opted out of a full dinner and instead decided to share The Chefs Board a selection of meats, cheeses, and bread. With a 3 option variety of sauces. I personally highly recommend the jam that comes with it! The meats and cheeses were equally satisfying! My preference was the Salami and Drunken Goat Cheese.

To finish off our Dinner we tried all The Top Rooftop had to over for dessert! No sweet tooth left behind!

First, The Matcha Creme Brulee... Let me start by saying ORDER it. Obviously listen to your gut instinct about your own flavor preferences. However, I'd go back for this dessert and a cocktail alone. The perfectly flambeed top was just a beautiful crunch to the creamy filling below. While not a fan of blueberries, it paired stunningly well with this particular dessert, and left me wishing there was more in the dish after it'd be scavenged.

The S'mores Dip, I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate I'll eat it here and there. This was definitely a rich flavor! Very sweet and yet the chocolate was reminiscent of a very soupy dark chocolate pudding flavor almost. The chocolate to marshmallow ratio was a bit lacking. And again there were not enough graham crackers provided for dipping to accommodate the amount of s'mores dip provided. All in all a great dessert if you love chocolate or S'mores! Maybe ask for a couple extra crackers, unless you'll be spooning it up!

Last but not least this evening was the Pana Cotta, it's a seasonal flavor that you'd have to ask the server for. We didn't ask the flavor. But it reminded me of a vanilla yogurt in a more gelatinous form with a semi syrup consistency honey sauce on the bottom. Topped with walnuts, and blueberries. Garnished with a leaf. Aesthetically pleasing more so then palate for myself but it got a thumbs up from two other at the table. Of the desserts I'd say this was the least sweet as well, a good...

Went here last night, and I have a few take aways:

-service was a bit slow. It took 25 minutes to get drinks. Each step was delayed. To be fair, it seemed like an event was going on, but I also had a reservation so… also while I can understand the waitress not being able to open a bottle of bubbles, it’s concerning when the restaurant manager can’t do that either. It seems inappropriate for this venue.

-the kitchen was not very accommodating. The menu isn’t very friendly to those who are low carb overall- which isn’t a crazy thing today. The kitchen is not open to even simple substitutes (I.e. swapping fries for some salad greens for example- in fact even when told no fries or side at all, fries were still served…) and seems only partly capable to omitting certain ingredients. Even then, they don’t seem to even remember a request like leaving roasted apples out of the Brussel sprout dish- a dish that I had to order because you couldn’t possibly sub some greens in place of fries... I digress. Also slow overall- they didn’t even get all items we ordered out, which were mostly appetizers, so we cancelled about 3 dishes after being there for several hours at this point.

-the food quality was mid. The risotto was not a risotto in any fashion, it was rice with some cheese- no creaminess. The Brussels were very undercooked for each person that ordered them. The burgers weren’t actually smash style, just thinner patties of mid quality. Bacon was overcooked and dry. Pickles appeared house made, but were also sweet which to me is questionable, especially if it’s not disclosed is the menu; diners would expect dill with a burger. They also allegedly ran out of both options for sparking wine bottles- silly for a restaurant that aims to facilitate events to even run the risk of something like that, especially one with a bar. For the price, in terms of cuisine, you can do a lot better in the area.

-the patio furniture is in bad shape. We were sat at a large 4 post outdoor table that had very severe wobble- the legs needed tightening and it would sway back and forth to the point we were concerned about having glasses on it. We were worried it might collapse.

I will say, our waitress was friendly, if inexperienced- though she shared she was new and we get that. The view is nice, though the seating is also staggered in an unusual way, so some tables have much better visibility than others. Overall, I wasn’t super satisfied with this experience, especially to celebrate something.

I’d add, that I’ve been here before for brunch too and was equally dissatisfied in the overall experience. I seem to recall furniture issues then too, and some of the items of the brunch boards scream packaged baked goods. Until the management gets “with it” this restaurant is going to keep missing...

I promise you I don’t want to be writing a review for this place but I felt like I was detained and robbed by this restaurant. Reservation: 1030am (everyone arrived by 1040). It took over an hour and 3 of us complaining (because they took 2/3 of our orders only) to get everyone’s drink and food orders in. It took an hour and forty five minutes for our food to come out (no exaggeration). 4 people in our group ordered French toast, all of it was raw in the middle (confirmed by our server). Almost everyone who ordered eggs had undercooked eggs. The table behind us, who had been there half as long as us, demanded to see the manager and sent her our way after they spoke to here. She basically apologized, said “sorry we’re not usually like this” and then was never heard from again. They then told us the credit card machine was down when we finally got our checks almost 3 hours after we got there. Our option was to fill out a form with our credit card info or run to the lobby and get cash. Nice little added atm fee. Then the cherry on top was the gratuity added in. Not only did we all get undercooked food, awful service, and have 3 hours of our lives wasted, we were charged for gratuity due to the party size. Any single person who has worked customer service or ever managed(I’ve done both) probably could’ve done a better job that the manger who had the opportunity to smooth things over. Usually a single experience usually doesn’t define an establishment. In this case, please save yourself some time and money and go to literally any other place out there. Worst part of all this was it was to celebrate our friends birthday. Everyone single person left upset and I’d imagine you’ll be able to read several reviews about our experience. 0/10...

Phenomenal place with an exceptional view of the city. We decided to spend our Valentines here and partake in their Valentines day meal pertaining of Chilean Sea bass and Osso Buco. Let's just say the meal was absolutely delicious and spot on. I had a few Vermont Old fashions and my wife sampled a few different drink specials for the evening. We both left full and planning out return. The only exception to the evening was our less than attentive waiter. We had to go out of our way to get his attention and had to remind him of the wine we were supposed to get as part of out dinners with each course of our meal. Still didn't tarnish the experience we had and we'll definitely return. Update... We returned based on our previous experience and once again loved the atmosphere and the view. The food and drinks were delicious and decently priced. However, our server proved to be needing help when serving our table of 11. Kept forgetting to put in numerous drinks orders which left many without drinks and then had difficulty at the end when we paid. She's fortunate the gratuity was already added in because she definitely wasn't worth the percentage we paid.
