Gourmet Bazar is one of the finest Persian stores in the DMV area that I have ever visited. The store is impeccably organized and clean, with a fresh produce section that offers reasonably priced vegetables. The condiment section is also excellent, with a wide variety of Persian spices available.

If you're looking for a Persian market to find something special from Iran, Gourmet Bazar is the place to be. They offer an extensive range of products that words cannot describe.

Their fresh Persian food section is particularly noteworthy, with a wide selection of Persian kababs, kookoos, and Ash reshte. I tried their Bandari sandwich to gauge their quality and taste, and it was absolutely delicious! I intend to explore other items from their menu.

Most of their products are priced reasonably when compared to other Persian stores. The only thing missing from their shelves is...

Okay let me tell you all something….. this place has absolutely the best sandwiches and kabob for carry out you will ever have. Especially in the DMV area. 100% the best chicken sandwich you ever ate I guarantee it. 100% best steak and cheese you ever ate in your life, even better than the most coveted places in Philly. If you’re reading this review and havnt tried this place, I feel sorry you are missing out. I’m not kidding I have my lunch and dinner from here almost every single day. And the days I miss it it’s only because I catch them after they close or I’m too busy during lunch time. I hope this place never changes 1 thing. It’s heaven on earth. I almost forgot to mention the quality and attention to detail and presentation. This place is top notch, high end. Such a clean,...

I have been their customer for a while. Tonight I bought a Joojeh kebab and a Koobideh kebab. The Koobideh was good, but the Joojeh kebab's pieces were smaller and less than normal. It looked like to be some grilled left over of chicken breast!! I called to the store and I talked to the manager. I politely explain the way that I received my order. Also, I sent him a picture of the order. What he answered me was that it was the normal amount of the chicken and the regular way that they grill the Joojeh kebab! He even didn't say anything to apologize. No matter how much it cost or how he answered me, he answered me the way that it won't be important to the store that I be their costumer...

We were initially thrilled when this store relocated and began offering fresh Persian cuisine. However, after a few months, we noticed a decline in the quality of the food. The prices increased while the quality deteriorated, making the food seem more commercialized. I spoke to them about the Gheymeh stew, as I had never encountered a recipe that included 50% chunky tomatoes. They seemed to have doubled the stew's quantity by adding 50% canned tomato chunks! Kashk Bademjan (a Persian appetizer) has a pure garlic flavor, with no other dominant tastes. Don't recommend them.
