STALE cake and Nazy is an unprofessional owner with bad attitude! They will never receive another order from me. An associate brought a cake to an event and it was good so I ordered a $65 quarter sheet, yellow cake with cream frosting and strawberry filling on Friday, July 4 for a pick up on Saturday, July 5 for a birthday brunch on Sunday, July 6. To my dismay and disappointment, everyone at the brunch said the cake was dense, tasted like old cornbread, had a stale taste and would only eat one bite. I ate a piece and they were right. I immediately called Nazy to let her know and she did not apologize or offer any consolation. She said she would speak to the chef and call me back the next day. She never called to I had to call her. A woman who did not speak English answered the phone and said the owner is not there, then whispered to someone, when she returned she yelled, “What do you want”? She was rude, unprofessional and impolite. Nazy still did not call back so on Tuesday, I called and finally reached her however, at first, she acted like she was not Nazy. She never apologized or offered compensation so I told her that I would arrive Wednesday with the cake and expected a refund. When I arrived she said, I know who you are and tried to take the cake from me but I reared back and told her that it was still my cake until she gave me my money back. The cake had visible signs of mold and she refused to taste the cake from her own bakery that she sold to me for my birthday. That speaks volumes. I would NEVER patronize or recommend Yasaman Bakery to anyone. I suggest to stay far away from this bakery. ...
Read moreI will attach a picture of the wedding cake I had asked. I had asked if they were able to do this cake exactly like the picture. I only asked for less flowers in the top tier. I was told they would be able to do it. On my wedding day this is what I was shown. I was heart broken. We paid $450 for a cake that looked like a kid piped icing on it. It was embarrassing to have to accept that cake for my wedding day. I had no choice but to take it since the wedding was a few hours away. I will never forgive this place for ruining my cake for one of the most special days of my life. If they knew they were unable to complete the cake They should have been honest! I could have gone elsewhere to make sure I got the cake i always wanted for my wedding day. I'm glad my family and friends made me feel a lot better about the cake. But please do not trust this business with any cake. Do not give them the chance to ruin a celebration of yours. I even sent the reference picture the day before when the owner asked for me. And then she claimed I sent it too late I SENT IT 4 MINUTES after she called asking for it and I had the proof of the time as well. She had the nerves to say it looks the same and then asked what I wanted her to do about it. I told her there's clearly nothing you can do not, the cake is ruined. No empathy what so ever for her own mistake and her own...
