I live in the area I bought a Dave single but when I got home they gave me a Dave’s double I ate it Saturday night I woke up Sunday with food poisoning. I reached out to the manager to let her know I received food poisoning at her location . She did not take my status seriously and took it for a joke asking me was I sure it was her location instead of checking on there meat . She became argumentibe and while she continued to talk over me I stated if she going to keep speaking over me instead of handling things in proper protocol I will contact the health department. She stated she doesn’t care. Food poisoning is a serious matter and that is someone’s life. She hung up on me multiple times as I tried to call back and tell her I was coming down there with my receipt to show I bought it from this location and she threatened to call the police if I came down there to show her the receipt . On someone that received food poisoning from this location . I will be contacting corporate , Human Resources and the health department and determine if I want to go towards legal matters against Wendy’s for her dismissive attitude. I’ve been sick for almost a week have not ate nothing but apple sauce 3 days after being sick because I was unable to eat anything. I recovered and was left with dehydration and almost past out yesterday due to it. But still recovering . As this matter is serious I will not be satisfied until she is removed as a manager. The manager is completely unprofessional and rude and I’m sure I’m not the only person that has made a review and stated her demeanor. I will be sure to reach corporate but her knowing I will now I put money on it she going to try to reach out first before I do so she can cover up the b.s . That’s what they do when they know you’re going to report them . And because it’s a weekend I have to wait until Monday. If you can’t take your job serious and follow regulations you shouldn’t have a job. Because this was handled completely unprofessional and it was my life on the line she should be removed before this happens to another person I’m sure Wendy’s owner don’t want a bad rep with someone’s life on there hands. Read moreI usually prefer Wendy’s over McDonald’s since their menu has a lot more leeway to work with nutrition wise when you’re in a bind. This particular Wendys has good customer service but is very slow. They usually get my order wrong but are good about rectifying it. The manager is really nice and does a good job about resolving issues. They get swamped at times and the wait time can get really long. The chicken grilled wrap and baked potato are my go to. One of the best deals are the 4 for $4 but not very healthy options and everything has an upcharge if you want to switch it to say the chili or a baked potato. And that’s if they let you, some places don’t. This one let’s you upcharge the drink to the natural lemonade for like $0.40 more. A good deed and deal all year round is the keychain they sell for St Jude. Usually they sell it for a $1 at the beginning of the year and you can get a jr frostier any time you make a purchase. Awesome in the hot summer days! The place itself really needs a renovation badly!! I don’t know why it hasn’t been redone yet! The dining room is usually clean but in this particular visit all the trash cans were full to the brim and even had trash on top of them. The bathrooms were ok. I prefer the service here than the one further up the pike. So I would recommend this one for the service, and somewhat for the food.
Edit: Wendy’s has gone a huge renovation, even with its employees. However, I have no idea what happened to the old staff but this new team is so mean! The new manager talks about people like we don’t understand Spanish. Just beware of the gossiping staff and bad service BUT really nice and update...
Read moreI’m not giving less stars because I’ve been to the drive through before and it was fine, but today it was terrible and I don’t know another way to give them feedback. I just went to the drive through today around 12:15pm and already when I was ordering the guy couldn’t get my order right from the speaker and seemed to be multitasking because he wouldn’t respond for a long time. Then I get to the window, pay, he gives me my drink (no straw) and closes the window while I wait. Then a woman opens the window and tries to give me another drink, so I tell her I have the drink but not the food. She closes the window again and I wait for a long while again. They can’t ask me to wait at the designated waiting spaces because they’re full and people are leaving the cars and going inside to check on their orders. Then a spot finally opens up and they ask me to park there. A while later another guy comes with just a sandwich, and I have to ask him for the fries and a straw. I leave frustrated and don’t check everything, but sure enough, I got a regular cheeseburger instead of the baconator I ordered. I can’t even check my receipt since I didn’t get one.
I will come back because this was my first bad experience, I just wanted to make sure whoever is in charge today knows it...
