Took a few minutes to figure out if the place was open, it was. Pulled up by the front door and we thought there were bees but it wasn’t… some other kind of bugs flying around (100’s), not their fault and I’m sure they’ll be gone soon. Got inside to order and 1 person training a new person (that’s fine) and one in kitchen. Quick look around it’s clear it’s understaffed. Trash cans full tables dirty and it’s only 11am and the place is empty when we walked in. Went to get our drinks on the multi-drink dispenser and no ice, waited for them to fill up the ice machine and pressed the regular Coke button and it spits out a light clear coke… no or not much syrup, the vanilla Coke seemed better. Looked for unsweetened tea… nope none. Food is brought out on a tray fairly quick. The chicken ranch sandwich was really good, I’d ask for half the sauce next time as it was a little too sweet for me, not a complaint just not a sweet fan. The side of garlic toast and tomato sauce were very good as well. Not sure what to do with the food tray and plastic plates etc, as the trash cans were full and I didn’t see a place for the other, so we left it on the table. I really want to try the pizza but not sure I want to come back as I know health wise, things seen is a small thing of unseen things. Good food, poorly managed, so the food quality will fail if it’s not...
Read moreI hope this review reaches management because I cannot express my gratitude enough, for the young man who helped me tonight. I had been on the go all day and was on my home (to Minneapolis from Little Falls). Not too far of a drive but long enough that it was dark and cold and I was so hungry but way too exhausted to do anything else for dinner. I walked in at 6pm, gave my order. The restaurant was packed with a party of parents and kids. I could clearly see how busy you were. By 6:50, a young man was able to check in with a few of us who had been waiting. My order was lost and even though I was not upset, I was thinking outloud if it would be worth the wait and I said "I have been waiting 50 minutes so I guess I don't mind waiting a little longer." But I also didn't wamt to impose. After all, it was a free pizza for Veterans day. This young man reassured me that they could put a rush on it and it would only be a few minutes. I did thank him and said "the best pizza IS worth the wait." So not only am I very thankful for the free pizza but he treated me as if I was a paying customer and was very polite and professional and I cannot thank him enough for all of his help. Please recognize him if you can, in Gratitude, Jaimie...
