The entire experience with Dock86 has been disappointing. I have purchased several times from Dock86 and hom furniture but never again. We came in March and fell in love with a couch and was told it would be ready for delivery 4/4. I called a couple days before as I hadn’t heard from them and asked for an update on my couch. The gal on phone said oh yeah it was pushed out to mid- late May. When I asked when someone was going to tell me this she stated they just found out and she wasn’t sure why or if it would get pushed back again. Considering w spent $2k on the couch we went in and spoke to a woman and I told her what had happened and we wanted to look at the floor model and maybe just buy that one. She said they don’t sell the floor models but pointed me to the guy that sold us the couch. He told us that they sold the couch on the floor and that he can’t tell when we will get our couch due to tax tariffs. I being jn sales myself explained to him that I wish he would have told us this before as we would have bought the floor model. We left and tried to find a similar couch elsewhere and we couldn’t find anything similar. That is the only reason we didn’t cancel our order. I proceeded to call weekly to get an update on my couch only to be promised call backs and updates that never happened. The last kicker was when the couch was finally here... do you think someone called? No, instead I found out by again by calling myself. She said the date is confirmed and I said ok when will it be delivered, oh it’s here its here in the warehouse so we could do Friday. 1. How long was it in the warehouse as I sat here waiting for it for 2 1/2 months? 2. She told me they would call Wednesday and work out a 2 hour window. I received the call Wednesday but it was an automated message and couldn’t get someone on phone. I couldn’t make 1015-1215 work so I called the next day. I was told the window couldn’t be adjusted. I said I can make 1130 later work and she said no, route manager said route complete and no changes could be made not even to do a different day. So they delivered to my house without anyone present but I will say the delivery people called before and after and they were very nice and professional. I get it, things happen beyond our control but what I don’t have patience for are the times they said they were going to do something and at times as simple as a call back and didn’t do it. I had asked for a phone call back by Monday (on a Friday) and the gal said oh no, I will call you back today... never called back. Terrible customer service and if it wasn’t for this beautiful couch that we couldn’t find anywhere else I would have...
Read more*Clown Show Alert * Our experience with this company was so bad it's impossible to put into words. After waiting for weeks on end to get our BLUE couch delivered, we took a day off of work and they delivered the wrong COLOR, A GRAY couch. No biggie, right? Stuff happens. They took it back, called management and we were assured they would make it right and credited our delivery fee and promised to send the correct one out right away. Awesome! Believe it or not, after taking another day off work for the replacement delivery, when the replacement couch arrived, guess what color it was. GRAY! This time everyone from the delivery guys to the warehouse worker tried to convince us the GRAY couch they delivered was actually BLUE to which my wife responded by bringing down our GRAY ottoman from the chair of the exact same style that we purchased earlier to literally point out to the delivery workers that the BLUE couch they delivered was indeed GRAY. They finally agreed and took it back. They promised to "look into the situation" and said a "technician" would look at the couch and call us back. Which he did and advised us the GRAY couch would eventually "turn blue" over time and that was indeed the correct couch. We then called the store we purchased it from and told them our dilemma and they said they'd look into it as well and make sure we got our BLUE couch. TODAY we went into the store to make further arrangements to get our BLUE couch The sales guy checked the computer and ALL 14 BLUE couches in their system were marked damaged thus confirming our ongoing claims they had mismarked inventory and were delivering the wrong couch. While at the store we also noticed that the floor model of the BLUE couch, we purchased was marked sold.Wanna guess what that means? It means they SOLD the only BLUE couch they had to someone else after charging our credit card, holding our money while we waited, delivering the wrong couch TWICE with 2 missed days of work, lying about the color, trying to convince us to keep the wrong couch, and running us around for over a month. This place is a disaster on wheels. STEER CLEAR OF...
Read moreI'm updating from a 1 to 3 ONLY because of our sales person Micheal. He followed up and got the situation corrected. If you go to Rogers ask for Michael! I ordered a blue Bari leather couch. First delivery...grey couch. The sticker tag said blue. OK...take it back bring blue couch. 2nd delivery...another grey couch. This time I grabbed my grey ottoman to compare colors outside. Yes...still grey. Roger's DOC 86 sales person calls me back. I explain situation. I asked if perhaps the ware house got a bunch of mislabeled color couches. He goes to higher ups. They send a technician out to their Coon Rapids ware house. He investigates. Tells salesperson that it's the lighting and over time the grey couch will turn blue (really? you think I'm that gullible). Salesperson calls me Wednesday and says he can sell me floor model. COOL! sure. We go in today to investigate the similarities between blue and grey (sarcasm) only to find out the floor model was sold to someone else. OK bummer. Ask salesman to have the "blue" colored couch shipped to Roger's so I could actually look at it. He goes to pull up the blue couch and guess what? All 14 "blue" couches are reported as...damaged. Now We paid about $750ish for this elusive blue couch and 2x we got the wrong color and the "Tech" (who is obviously deceitful) tries to convince the sales person that it IS a blue couch not grey and perhaps I'm seeing things wrong. I know that fraud is a huge no-no with the AG of MN and the commerce department of MN. SO to whomever it may concern I would appreciate you investigating this "tech" and why on earth you think you can pass off a grey couch as blue and think I...
