Stopped in at 10:55 a.m. to get a toaster sandwich and a drink. This time, there weren't a bunch of inconsiderate morons; who order big orders or more than one order, holding the rest of the world up just because the don't like anyone elses world to function smoothly or that their order gets prepared in the same amount of time! This place, especially, needs to have such large orders use the normal order spots. It is a drive thru. Not a lazy place ti park, sit, wait, and hold up small orders! Duh?
At the drive thru order speaker, I clearly gave my order. She repeated it wrong three times. The fourth time was still partly wrong so I gave up and just said it was right. Extra onions just wasn't worth doing it again!
Pulling up to the pick up window, I saw the girl walking around away from her station talking to others. Several minutes went by before she came to take the money. She gave me change and was gone. The next thing I know, the male cook had bagged my sandwich and brings it to the window and gives it to me and disappears.
Upon pulling on the highway, I realize they didn't give me the soda I paid for! I called and asked for the manager to file a complaint on the zoo. That very girl answers. She states she is the assistant manager! What the ** is the matter with this place?
I did call the franchise office. If it happens again like this, it will be another place me or my family spend another dime at. This is not Sonic service nor behavior. The cook did a great job! This gal needs more training or better management!
As for the one young guy; who was out front chatting with people in a car that had just pulled up for some other reason, anyone preparing or handling food, working in a food environment, and supposed to be helping me get my order without all of this are supposed to be inside and doing their job! I say; "Maybe the cook should be promoted to manager!"
The food here is always very good. Usually the service is also. I hope they correct this. We stop there a lot! I am rating this above what I probably should, but I believe in ONLY a second chance. If the food wasn't good, forget about even that. The cook saved...
Read moreConsistently slow. Never apologize. Can barely hear drivethrough speaker and they definitely don't care enough to fix it, even though it doesn't seem they can hear customers well either. I haven't called any place after I've left in my entire life until now and I got no answer. I gave them two too many chances after my first bad experience and each time was worse than the time before so I won't try again. Disappointed is an understatement, mostly that I've spent my hard earned dollars at a place that doesn't seem to even try to do well and doesn't care to fix a single issue. The first two times I was quite nice but the third I wasn't as nice but didn't demand a refund or flip out on anyone. I feel that my kindness is taken advantage of there, as there was no apologies and never any compensation offered for the ludicrous time I've waited both to order and to get my DRINKS(yes, 2/3 times-only drinks were ordered). I recommend going 5-7 minutes in almost any direction to another sonic location if ya just gotta have it bc the chances of being sorely disappointed at this one are...

I was greeted and asked to wait for a brief moment 10mins later I said hello, no one answered I waited a couple minutes, watched 2 people leave behind me and one pull into a stall and was helped immediately. So then i daid hello are you still there and someone came over the speaker and said welcome to sonic could you please hold I said actually no I can't ive been waiting for almost 20 minutes already I don't want to hold any longer..... the woman then said I'm sorry I'm not sure who answered your call the first time but let me get to a register and I'll take your order. Super frustrated and the food wasn't even that great this time. 😒 they gave me coupons but offered no discount and when i asked if I could have a discount they said if you would have asked in the line back there I could have done it but I already put it in and I cannot give you a discount now so here's a few coupons...
