Taqueria Vega — Restaurant in Rogers

Probably one of the worst places I have ever gone to. First, we ordered over the phone some tamales before arriving to the restaurant. We asked if they had tamales de chile verde and they advised yes. When we arrived they stated they no longer had the ones we had requested... That was no issue we were fine with all red. They first let us know it would take about 10 minutes. We were there for 45 minutes.. Once we took a bite into the tamale all you tasted was water!!!!! No flavor, all water. Tasted like the tamales were left in the freezer for days and then warmed up!!!!! We threw them away as soon as possible. The girl at the counter was snobby, horrible customer service. I never write reviews, but please do not waste your time...

The red salsa with the fresh, hot corn chips was tasty yet a bit too spicy for me. However the green salsa was perfect for a milder palate.

Their huge wedge of flàn was superb! I forgot to take my picture prior to tasting it and ate most of it before I remembered I wanted a photo.

I also ordered a Gordita with chicken. So tasty I ate every bite!

I stuffed myself a bit because their portions are so generous.

Gordita with chicken, flàn & water with lime was a total of $10.01 including taxes!

Excellent food, service and the resaurant was nice at an amazing price!

I will visit again on my lunch break at my office across the highway. They cook to order and I still had 10 minutes to spare in my 60...

I try my hardest not give bad reviews. This place however, was a horrible experience. We waited almost an hour for our food. The waitress didn't remember who ordered what food or drinks. Part of this could have been because the music was up so loud, and we were seated at the back of the place. All of that would have been okay if the food impressed, but it was the opposite. My rice and beans were almost cold. My quesadilla was not very warm at all, but was above room temperature. The one thing I will say is that the homemade tortillas are very good. That alone saved a one star review. Your mileage may vary but I, along with the rest of my family will...
