I happened to be up early this morning and thought a fresh from the oven cinnamon roll sounded amazing so I headed down to Jelly Donut a bit after they opened, say around 5:10am. Unfortunately 90% of their display rack space was empty of product with only a very small selection of donuts I had no interest in displayed. I asked how long until they had any cinnamon rolls available and was politely told it would be 30 minutes after which I said "thank you" and left empty handed.
Maybe because of Covid they're seeing decreased business so feel they cant offer a selection in the early morning but honestly if that's all they can put out maybe they should move their opening time to 6am. At any rate, this place has good donuts but don't show up before 5:30am if you want any kind...
Read moreGreat place for old school doughnuts. Do you want an old fashioned? Chocolate bars, apple fritters, doughnut holes, bears claws, ect. All the staples done like they were making them for decades. Not the sugary "triple dipped" nonsense that they call doughnuts at other newer chains. This isn't a "craft doughnut" shop either with 4$ dry cake with crumbled butterfingers and bacon. Just amazingly old fashioned, pink box, made that morning doughnuts. Fantastic place and the prices are totally reasonable. (Especially when compared to the newer chains and hipster establishments) Also get this, in and out in 5 minutes! Because no one wants to stand in long line...
Read moreSimply the best donut i have ever had. If you're lucky enough to get a maple bar fresh from the back, you'll never go to another donut shop again. This plave is the best Donut shop in Rohnert Park, and it does not even come close, probably sonoma county. The maple bars are fantastic, the chocolate old fashion is to die for, and the white frosting cakes are sublime. The ham cheese croissant is delicious as well. I love this place and eat here...
