Wow dude. Just wow never in my LIFE have I been treated so terribly in a drive thru window. I expect things like that from McDonald's. Not Taco Bell. That place is sacred to me. :'( first off, i tend to have difficult orders when I'm really hungry. Tonight was one of those nights, therefore, i thought it would save everyone time and save everyone involved a headache by leaning over my sister and ordered my food myself instead of relaying to her what i wanted for her to tell the peraon on the headset what i wanted. So my sister ordered her food, and then i leaned over to tell her my order. I was speaking loudly so she could hear me on the speaker. I said: "I would like a cravings deal, please." The girl asked me what drink i wanted. I told her. I proceeded to tell her I didn't want lettuce, onions, or sour cream on anything. She asked me for my drink order again. So i told her the drink...again...then they switched people. So I had to tell it all over again to her, but this time the girl at window actually told me I had an attitude. I was just like wow really? Well my sister got pissed, and by the time we got to the window, she was ready. We got the food, and this is how it went: Siater: "What's your name?" Girl At Window: "Does it matter?" S: "Yes it does." GAW: "I don't want to tell you that." S: "Can you give me the number to corporate then?" GAW: "No. I'm not equipped with that number." S: "Can I at least speak to a manager?" GAW: "You already did." (Slams window shut) Then another lady, I'm assuming the manager came to the window to talk: New Lady: "I'm actually the one you spoke with on the speaker." S: " Ok. Can I have the number to corporate?" NL: "It's on the back of the reciept." S: "Ok. Thank you." Me: (as I'm checking my food) "There's lettuce on my taco." NL: " Well I'm the one who made your food." Me: " Ok. I really dont like lettuce." NL: " I can remake it for you." Me: " Thank you." S: " The phone number isn't on the reciept." NL " That's all I'm allowed to say." (Slams glass) Then a guy comes to the window Guy: "Can I help you?" : "The lady told me the number for corperate was on the back of the reciept, and it's not." G: (As he's cutting the last 3 words of my sister's off) "1800tacobell is the phone number otherwise you need to use the website. Also we're a franchise not corperate." S: "Is that who I complain too?" G: " Yep. You ladies have a nice night." (Slams glass) Once again, worst taco bell trip of my life!!! Im fixing to share this post to the Taco Bell facebook page, im leaving this as a google review, and we're still calling corperate in the morning. Never in my life have i delt with such rudeness on a drive thru!! Very...
Read moreAlways drama, to the point of being a hostile work environment. Just had a guy threaten a managers kids (to be fair, said manager screwed that guys kid, just, handle your BS outside of work people) and management would rather sweep things under the rug, which is a consistent sort of response here. Oh, that guy has been fired for threatening people before, also, but that's not enough for them.
Fraternization typically ends with one party punished and one party rewarded, which is blatant sexism at best.
The district-level management was removed from the other store in Rolla, for obvious reasons, as that store still exhibits most of the bad behaviours that they began under her time there, such as "running out" of carbonation for days on end, and closing early, whenever they just don't want to work. Somehow, that person is now at a higher level, and seems determined to run multiple stores into the ground in a similar manner.
Got fired for "social media policy", but everything I can find legally says that doesn't get to apply to safety issues or health issues, and this is an unsafe work environment. Debating on going after them for retaliatory firing, but I also don't care to work there anymore, so we'll see. Their excuse as to why it's totally NOT retaliation was "but we DID fire that guy"...yeah, after bringing them back, and them getting written up by 2 different shift leads within 3 days for continuing to act in a threatening manner. Exactly the unsafe environment I called them out for creating. Fired them AFTER my posts on Glassdoor and an official forum for the city of Rolla, which don't really qualify as social media in the first place, anyways.
Save your time,...
Read moreWe came through the drive thru at about 9:30. For some reason, they needed to close early at 11:00, and for some reason, they also closed the inside early. So we went through the drive thru with two orders. Everything was fine going through and placing the orders, but when we got to the window, we were handed one order and the attendant said “Have a good night,” or something to that extent, which to us, implied we were done. The driver pulled forward and I checked on the food, only to find half of it missing. There were about six people in the drive thru, so we knocked on the front door. When we were ignored, we called and politely told them the situation. The person on the phone was extremely rude and basically told us to either go back through the drive thru or f*ck off (because it would’ve been SO hard to walk the ten feet to the door). It would’ve been one thing if he had been polite and told us we had to go through the drive thru, but he was extremely rude, and he demanded our receipt... which he never gave us. After going back through the drive up to get the rest of our food, the person at the drive thru handed us the food like we were going to eat him and immediately closed the window and walked away without saying a single word. While I understand that ultimately it was our fault for driving away without the food, the nightly-manager’s attitude on the phone was absolutely unacceptable. It was rude, unprofessional, and unprovoked. Nobody from the restaurant I used to work at would ever talk to a costumer that way, regardless of the situation. We will NOT be going back during the night shift...
