Waffle House — Restaurant in Rome

The waitress was nice and professional first of all. I proceeded to order a T-bone bone steak dinner with hashbrowns and a salad. The salad was terrible it had choped up peices of the tomatoes end where it connects to its vine in it once again that was ok I didn't expect much for a waffle house salad so no big deal. Once my main entree was brought out I put ketchup on my hashbrowns and immediately heard the chef say "it's disgusting to put ketchup on hashbrowns" loudly enough I could hear him in the corner booth. Honestly I didn't really care and acted as though I didn't hear it figure he's probably just jealous I have to teeth to eat with. But then I cut into the steak I ordered it medium THIS THING WAS SO RAW ON THE INSIDE IT WAS SCREAMING HELP ME AND I THOUGHT I WAS CUTTING THROUGH A BONE BUT NO THE DAMN THING WAS FROZEN ON ONE SIDE! So I politely payed for my meal left it un eaten and left without tipping something I've never done. I always tip well and have always had excellent service prior to tonight but it only takes once to lose my buisness I suggest your cautious with what you order at this particular location and look...

I've been visiting this waffle House for 7 years that I've lived here and I was totally astonished and amazed when me and my kids first went and sat down is that we were greeted by every employee there and the boot was perfectly clean and they brought us our drinks and asked us what we were ready to order we placed our order and then exactly 45 seconds later we had our meals and they were perfect to the tea and the place was absolutely packed but now it's a different story for some reason and I found out recently that Martha the previous manager of the store who put this team together of happy employees that worked like a well-oiled machine she has left the establishment and is now pursued her career in teaching and getting closer to God I'm not saying this waffle House is bad or anything like that I'm just saying it's not what it used to be and it takes a little longer to get your food as a normal waffle House does and the third shift crew needs...

I don't understand how or why I was charged $14.70 or whatever it was for an All Star Special with coffee when the menu here says $7 and change???? I paid with a $20 and only got $5 and some change back which I left for my waitress. As I left I kept wondering why it was so expensive (it was hard to read on the ticket. I thought it said $10 something- which even that is overcharging). I was in a hurry to leave for work, but I did take the time to look at the menu here afterwards to check the price, and yes, somehow I was charged double.

It's a shame. I'm staying in a hotel next door and I would've been back every morning had this not happened. What the heck?????? If they make it up to me with a free breakfast (as I was charged for 2 not the 1 I ordered) I will update this review and...
