Ordered 2 Oreo Blasts (one for my son, one for me), and a small plain sundae. The speaker is malfunctioning, so it's hard for them to hear your order. No big deal.
I waited in the drive thru (too cold to expect a car hop to bring it to your car). When I pulled up to the window to pay, the guy asked what I ordered. I told him, paid, and took my change. He turned around to grab one of the cups and put a lid on it. The lid fell on the floor. Instead of grabbing a new lid, he picked the lid up off the floor and put it on my cup - opened the window and handed it out towards me, melted ice cream dripping down the side of the cup.
I asked if that lid just fell on the floor. "Yea, but not the cup." So that's gross. When I worked in food service, whatever hit the floor belonged to the floor - you NEVER serve floor items to a customer. He begrudgingly got a new lid and handed me the cup.
That doesn't take away from the fact that it was on the floor. "The cup didn't fall on the floor." No, but the lid did, and that's gross. I'm not giving that to my kid. "FINE! I'll make you a new one!" He got upset, closed the window, talked about me to his coworkers, and made a new one.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but don't put a contaminated lid on a cup and expect it to be no big deal. The way he just didn't care was so off-putting. Does he have a valid food handler card?
Are burgers wrapped with a paper that fell on the floor? Are tater tots put in a container that fell on the floor? Are the food prep stations wiped down in a sanitary, ROR approved manner, or wiped down with the same rag used to wipe down high touch surfaces? So, so gross.
I fully understand being short staffed and slammed, but I saw 3 employees inside, 1 outside at a car hop spot, and there was 1 car ahead of me and...
Read moreWe are discussed at this Sonic. How can this location stay in business with such a horrible history? Are they really that desperate to make money? I wouldn't give them any stars except I had to being it will not let you leave them all blank. We tried to order a sonic cheese burger with no cheese but add extra onions. That order came up on the screen (only cheese) (only onion) My husband tried telling the lady taking the order 3 times that we do not want cheese n our screen it says only cheese. She reassured him that the burger will not have cheese on it. He also ordered a foot long coney dog no cheese and 2 shakes. Whe we got our food the burger had cheese on it. We tried telling the guy that delivered our food 3 times that the burger was not supposed to have cheese on it that we want it remade. He acted like he misunderstood because he started arguing with us. We told him we went over the burger 3 times with the lady taking the order he kept telling us we are wrong n that it was supposed to have cheese on it. We finely got through to him that we wanted the burger remade with no cheese. When he brought out the burger it was right. I told him I wanted his name as I was making a complaint. He told me he didn't care about me making the complaint and told me his name was David and that he's the manager. He kept arguing with us to the point I got out of my car wanting to beat his a**. He kept cussing us out and flipping us the bird. I would not recommend going . Definitely not taking no kids there that's not what children she hear or see. Yeah crazy...
Read moreI took my wife there for dinner. We placed our order in the drive thru. The person working was speaking so soft it was very challenging to understand him. When we pulled up his mask was under his chin. I paid and was waiting for our food. He handed me our drinks which were wet on the outside. I overlooked the laziness and was waiting with my wife. Looking in the window I watched in shock as he dug in his mouth for several minutes while waiting for our food. I had my wife look to make sure I was seeing this. He then starts opening a bag to put our food in. I tapped the window asking him to come over. I explained I just watched him digging in his mouth and would appreciate it if he washed his hands. He rolled his eyes and walked away as I was telling him this. I don't think he really washed them after. He had his back to us and he never moved to throw out a towel. He did step to the back for a second to likely request the pubic hair special covered in spit. Then popped back in front with his hand in his mouth again. We left without even asking for a refund as I didn't want to get angry at this person and do something I would regret. The money I wasted isn't worth it. I will never go there again and recommend you...
