Gene's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Roseau

Considering all the great reviews, perhaps they were having an off day??? Food was just ok, not great. Burger toppings were very haphazardly thrown on and all of our burgers were put on top of the pickle chips which made for a soggy meal. Service was very slow considering the place had few customers at the time we were there, and we weren't checked on but once. I finally had to go to the bar for our check and had to wait a while to be helped and there were only 2 other customers there, so I'm not sure why. Just an overall...

Absolutely hands down best food and service I’ve had in a while!! The Naan Taco(which is not on the menu) AMAZING!!! The Rueben Burger…out of this world!!! Derek is amazing, you can tell he takes pride in his job! The liquid marijuana drink is to die for! Best long islands and even had a “breakfast shot” which consisted of a piece of bacon, a shot of OJ, and a shot of Jameson and buttershots. Definitely will be back here the next time we...

Not from the area. Chose Gene's for lunch because the building looked better maintained than other restaurant options in town.

Menu options were very limited -- basically burgers, sandwiches, and nachos. The prices were a little high considering you get chips instead of fries with your basket. (The waitress told us they don't have a deep fryer.) Service was a little on the slow side, but friendly....
