LIL JOES BBQ in Rosebud, TX was OKAY!!! Not the best bbq but definitely not the worst neither. Hospitality was very good and inside was clean and cold. Would I come back? Lil Joe’s is Huge on Friendliness, Flavor & Value! Brisket has perfect char and very moist; big ribs, also great char, basically fall off the bone; sausage (pork?) great seasoning; beans looked too thin but surprised me with their flavor; coleslaw crispy and fresh…even the tea actually tasted like tea, not dark water. And the folks are wonderful! Have enjoyed Q all over Texas but few can match Lil Joe’s on price, flavor, or quality! They’re doing it right. Pick you up a bouquet of BBQ in Rosebud 🌹🐖🐂!

I have driven by without stopping for a few years, but yesterday I made a point to stop in. Really nice people and great atmosphere. I grabbed a chopped beef sammich, chips and a Coke for the road. Wow what flavor! They have excellent BBQ here. I didn't need the BBQ sauce. The portion was great too. This is a stop on my route to the Metro Plex from now on!

Lil Joe’s is Huge on Friendliness, Flavor & Value! I have driven by without stopping for a few years, but yesterday I made a point to stop in. Really nice people and great atmosphere. I grabbed a chopped beef sammich, chips and a Coke for the road. Wow what flavor! They have excellent BBQ here. I didn't need the BBQ sauce. The portion was great too. This is a stop on my route to the Metro Plex from now on!

Dissapointed. I'd like to check you out. Tried twice today. More busy than my schedule allowed around 12, so I decided to try on my way back. Got back at 2:15, and you're closed. Google has you open until 3:30. If it's subject to supply, you may want to say so in the hours. Did I miss something? There's not much for a truck driver to get something decent between Waco and Brenham that you can even get a truck near. It would've been nice to discover something, especially since I make that round trip twice a day most weeks. So now my option is Clem Mikeskas industrial smoker crockpot flavored BBQ in Cameron, or be hungry. Hunger it is. Give me some clarity, I'm still interested. It smelled wonderful when I stepped...

This place should truly get a michelin star for their tacos. The chicken and bbq tacos are better than any I've ever tried before in my life! It's kind of a small shack with southern home vibes in the middle of nowhere. If you blink driving by, you'll miss it. The only downside is they close at 3:30pm, probably because they sell out of everything. If you stop by at lunchtime on a week day, be sure to call your order in ahead of time because it will be packed. It's definitely worth an hour drive to try it out at least once...

Having recently relocated to a rural area outside of Waco, and being a food junkie, I of course have to try out every barbecue stop around me. Decided to check this one out on a Sunday because it’s one of the few that are actually open on Sunday here. Only ribs were left by the time I got there, so I recommend going early for more options. However, let me just say that the ribs are absolutely amazing, fall off the bone, smoky with perfect seasoning. Absolutely recommend this spot! I will be going back...
