China Wok — Restaurant in Roselawn

Been buying food here since 2016, even though royal buffet is the best Chinese food i ever tasted, i sometimes order food at China wok because i live so close. The little girl usually always have a grumpy attitude but i didnt really care about that, what i do care about is my food.

i recently ordered some orange chicken and they tried to make me wait outside in the freezing cold for 20 minutes, we basically came to a agreement about waiting inside (which should have been the right thing to say in the first place) its not like a lot of people go there anyways. But long story short, they rushed my food because i guess they really wanted me out of the restaurant, they served me some super undone cooked orange chicken!! Like it was super gooey and u can still see the undone raw chicken! They told me it'll take 20 minutes but they was finished in like 7 minutes. So i called back up there confronting them about it and they basically said they're not going to check it out, refund me or remake the chicken (i wish i wouldve saved it to take pictures) but i was about to go back up there, as i was putting on my jacket i realized that everything wasn't going to end well lol it was only 18 dollars, and i knew i was probably going to throw that food everywhere in that place, kick that little cheap door down and just act a fool lol Me and my family will just never purchase from here again, ill just make the 30 minute round trip to royal buffet instead.. 5 years i been getting china wok and they NEVER served me un done food! All over because they wanted me out of their building so bad. I wonder if i wasnt black, would they still have did that to me🤔🤔

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I will NOT return!!! Nor recommend this place to anyone! I placed an order online & it stated food would be ready for pick-up in 45mins. Showed up about an hour after placing order. Go inside to pick-up window. Cashier runs my cc for payment & then after getting payment informs me it will be another 5 to 10min wait. Only area to wait in is a VERY SMALL waiting room with 4 chairs. NO DONE IN AVAILABLE AT THIS PLACE even though their online, menus, & outside sign states DINE IN. So I went back out to my car waited 5mins went back in & waited in line behind 3 other customer's to them be told again 5 to 10 more mins for my order. Went back outside to my car waited another 5 mins went back in, waited in line AGAIN for my turn. Then once I am at the window the girl takes 2!! phone call orders, & still has not even acknowledge me. She then walks to the back & comes back up front to then push my bag of food through the window & shuts the window. The attitude & overall service from this location is HORRENDOUS. **Also would like to note. On the order I specified no carrots in the vegetable fried rice. It was also notated on the order form (menu) & as you can see by the attached photo...there are carrots in this fried rice. If I had to wait well over an hour & 15 mins for my order I'd expect it to be 100%...

The food is always good. Sometimes the service, not so much. The young daughter is rarely friendly and should not be out front taking care of customers coming in for pickup orders as she can be quite rude at times. Other than that, I will always eat here as the food is very good.

UPDATE 10/23/19: The food continues to be very good! Yeah, the Crab Rangoon's do leave a little to be desired, but everything else we've ever ordered here has been very good! The youngnest daughter is now up front taking care of customers and is much more polite and respectful as compared to her older sister. Believe me, even if the food is very good, who you put out front taking care of customers makes a world of difference and can make or break your restaurant. People want to be treated with respect when they come to a restaurant, even if they are taking their order with them. If the service isn't friendly, good chance I won't be back... No matter how good the food is! Much improved since my last review of this place a few years ago! Keep...
