Man, restaurants like this are HARD to come by nowadays. This place is everything that a restaurant is SUPPOSED to be and I’m so glad that I checked it out. I brought my wife here for our 10 year anniversary tonight and I made the right choice. We walked into the door about 15 minutes after they opened on a Saturday (4:15), we were immediately and kindly greeted by a hostess who sat us right away in a corner booth that was perfectly lit, cozy, and fairly private. Within seconds of sitting down we were brought waters, butter, and warm bread. Our server (Alexa) made it to the table quickly, if I had to guess it was within 2 minutes of sitting down. We ordered as follows: Appetizers: Lobster Cargot and Oysters Rockefeller. Soup/salad: French onion soup and a house salad with Italian dressing. Entrees: Chicken Diane and Veal Marsala Dessert: German chocolate cake. I would order every single one of these things again without hesitation. Everything was fantastic and we were raving about it the entire time. It’s a plus that the bread was also great. The service was impeccable and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We would finish a course and the next one was right behind it, not only that but hot and fresh like they were reading our minds and sending these dishes out in perfect sync with our evening. I’ve noticed in recent years a lot of restaurants have been very bad with giving you a nice hot plate, things are often lukewarm, not here. I couldn’t even get my water 1/2 of the way down before somebody would come and refill it, I typically drink a lot of water and go thirsty waiting for refills at most places that I go. Again, not here. I myself had the French onion soup and veal Marsala, two of my favorite things. They were the best I’ve had. We walked out of there at $120 pre tip and $155 out the door, which I felt was very fair pricing. The owner (I assume thats who it was) was attentive and watching the dining room like a hawk, making his way around to check on everybody and see to it that they were having a good experience. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I rate this a 10/10 in every single imaginable category. I applaud you guys, and thank you for giving us one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve that I’ve had. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. We will be back. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. (If you’re reading this, I apologize for not getting better pictures, we were in the moment!)

I enjoyed the scenery, the live music was really nice, I love to hear Live instruments & singing. My husband ordered the jumbo fried shrimp with mashed potatoes & Ceaser salad. He enjoyed the shrimp, but there wasn’t that much of it so he was not full (6/7 pieces) the mashed potatoes were disgusting, he got the garlic mash, they just sit the fresh garlic on top, the mashed potatoes, themselves were bland. I ordered the fettuccini with steak tips, mushrooms, and asparagus with a Caesar salad. I really loved my meal, the steak was cooked perfect. The Caesar salads were great, that was a first time experience for us to get to see them make it table side however, when I asked the waitress, what do our meals come with? She said you can get a Caesar salad for a little bit more, normally at any restaurant you would think that’s about. $5-$8. I didn’t think to ask because of the way she said it, I had no idea they even made it at the side of the table, but if I would’ve known that I would’ve asked the price because I’m sure the experience alone is why it cost so much. The Caesar salads added an extra $33.90 to our bill. We both definitely would have went without Salads if I would have known. I intended to spend at least the cost of our food which was reasonable to me, but the salad was outrageous, that made me upset. One of the waiters came by and filled up my water, but did not even ask my husband if he wanted his filled up and his glass was half full, that made us both feel a type of way, I had to ask our waitress for my husband’s water . Other than that it made me cringe that the people who make your table side Cesar do not wear gloves & when they go to squeeze the lemon out they are using a napkin and wrapping the lemon in it, but they have to squeeze it with their bare hands which is putting their hand juice mix with the lemon juice, the silverware is placed on the table, not on a plate, and you have to drink from the glass, which I know in a lot of fancy restaurants that’s normal, but even when I asked for a straw because I just don’t prefer to put my lips on a glass., She touched the straw with her hands because they were wrapped, so it just threw me off as far as sanitary, I’m very OCD about that, so I would not be back just because of those reasons, it’s sad, because the scenery and food was pretty decent.

Personally, I felt the food was a bit on the pricier side for that you were provided but was still excellent. The Ceasars salad and French onion were amazing and definitely worth a return visit. The Filet had a very good but minimal char to it that heightened the flavor and paired with the Au Jus made it very savory and some seasoning cooked into it. The mushroom on the Filet didn't really add much to the dish other than just astetic appeal. Garlic Mashed Potatoes were moist and smooth without an overpowering amount of garlic to them. The bread was fresh and a nice butter coating. For drinks we had a Green Tea Martini which was definitely made with a generous amount of liquor, the Long Island Iced Tea that was quite good without a overpowering amount of alcohol but definitely enough to make you feel a buzz, and lastly a Macallan 12 year Scotch that had a resonable portion for the price. The deserts were pretty okay but nothing too special frankly. Our waitress was friendly and patient with the party of 8 I was with at the time. The biggest sticking point was really the prices being fairly high for what you got and the size of the restaurant not exactly being large enough to accommodate the volume of people in the establishment. They really pack you in like sardines, so much so we began to wonder how the servers could move around. Would consider returning.

I'm sorry, but I really have to leave this review after my experience here.

I'd never heard of this place before doing a Google search today. We looked over the menu online, saw it served dry aged steak and the prices indicated it's a moderately nicer place than say, a Texas roadhouse.

We called ahead and were told they don't take reservations unless its 6 or more people and walk-ins are on a first come first serve basis. Ok, that's fine.

When we showed up, we put our name down and sat in the waiting area, there was 1 couple before us that had already been given a table by the time we sat in the waiting area, and we were the only ones in the waiting area.

Another couple showed up and were in the waiting room when the hostess came out and said they took too long so they gave their table to another couple (the people before us) but that they would be the next to be seated.... excuse me? What happened to first come, first serve? These people missed the window to be seated and therefore should have been moved to the bottom of the list. But no, 10 minutes go by and that couple gets seated ahead of us.

5-10 more minutes go by and another couple walks in. They wait in the waiting area and not 2 minutes later the hostess comes out and tells them their table is ready.

A party of 4 comes in and not 5 minutes later, the hostess says THEIR table is ready. 5 minutes later a man comes out and asks "what was your name again? Oh, ok you'll be next." Like what just happened here?

We finally get seated. It's a completely cramped and claustrophobic scene. Tables are all practically on top of each other. It's loud as sin in the restaurant, which is surprising for a place that charges $60 for a steak. Was expecting a much classier joint with well mannered patrons.

Someone comes to set the table and after he leaves, my wife looks mortified and said the man brushed his arm across my wife's breasts while giving her silverware.

Now I'm upset, but it's getting late, we're both hungry and we're already seated... lets just see how the food is.

Someone drops a bread basket off at our table, we go to try it and the bread is stale.

Another 10 minutes goes by and we haven't even seen our server yet. No drinks, no nothing.

Finally our server comes to take our order. We get drinks, my wife orders a filet mignon, I order the dry aged ribeye.

We get our food and I'm incredibly disappointed with the steak I got. It was good enough to eat but was nothing like the dry aged I've come to know and love. You couldn't cut it with a fork, definitely needed the steak knife. There was no flavor to it at all other than the au jus... A good steak shouldn't need anything at all. But the au jus was pretty good, I'll give them that.

My wife's filet mignon on the other hand was tougher than a New York strip, she couldn't even eat it. Never saw our server again, but the man who came to ask "what my name was again" (presumably a manager) stopped at our table to ask how our food was. We explained the situation and told him we'd just like to get our bill. He was at least very understanding and even comped one of the meals, which we weren't trying to get out of paying for, but it's nice that he took the initiative upon himself to do that still. I do appreciate not getting stiffed on the bill on top of everything else that's happened so far. He's the only reason I give service 3 stars instead of 1. He did the right thing and was very remorseful.

Our server finally comes back, but by this point we're adamant that all we want is the bill.

More drinks would have been great during our meal, seeing our server at all would have been great during our meal. But at this point we just want to get away from this location. We were overlooked on the waitlist, my wife was a victim of sexual misconduct, the food was mediocre at best, worse-so for my wife. We got headaches sitting in the environment, and aside from the manager intervening, our service was pretty awful.

Safe to say we won't be coming back. Management seems to be the only thing acceptable at...

Review of My Birthday Dinner Experience

I was really looking forward to my birthday dinner, which my fiancé had planned with so much love and thoughtfulness. Unfortunately, the evening turned out to be a series of disappointments that overshadowed the celebration.

Initially, the service seemed promising. Our waitress was friendly, and we were excited to enjoy our meals. However, as the minutes turned into an hour of waiting, we grew increasingly frustrated. It was particularly disheartening to see a large party that arrived 30 minutes after us receiving their food long before we did.

When our meals finally arrived, the excitement quickly turned to disappointment. My fiancé had ordered a rack of ribs, while I opted for the prime rib. To our dismay, his order was incorrect, and after the waitress took his plate back, he was left waiting an additional 15 minutes for the correct meal. When the ribs finally arrived, they were cold. I thought maybe he was exaggerating, but touching the meat confirmed it was indeed cold.

We struggled to get the attention of our waitress, who seemed to have disappeared during our ordeal. After about 10 minutes of waiting, we managed to flag down someone and requested to speak with a manager. The manager's response was underwhelming; he didn’t apologize or offer any solutions to rectify the situation. Instead, he simply removed the cold plate from in front of my fiancé, leaving us feeling dismissed and frustrated.

To make matters worse, I witnessed the manager reprimanding our waitress, which only added to the unprofessional atmosphere. At that point, I felt compelled to ask for the bill and cut our evening short.

Overall, the customer service was far below what one would expect, especially for a special occasion. We felt ignored and unvalued throughout the entire experience. Regrettably, this dinner turned out to be one of the worst birthday celebrations I’ve ever had. I hope the restaurant can address these issues for future guests, as they certainly detracted from what should have been a wonderful evening.

UPDATE: At NO TIME did the manager apologize to me or my fiancé for our service and food. At least you acknowledge the service was below average but please don’t lie in this review sir. He took the plate away and attempted to walk away until I tried to get his attention. The fact you never tried to make it right even though we paid for BOTH MEALS, which in this day and age is too expensive to not get what you paid for! The fact you lie, never made it right and still can’t offer a solution is all the more reason I will tell anyone I know not...
