Stopped here on my way home from work i ordered a spicy Hani with fries. I sat at the counter and watched the cook prepare my food simply because i had nothing else to do while i waited. The cook was wearing a pair of purple gloves which he did not take off or wash during the process of cooking anyones food that was eating their while i waited. I watched as he touched raw bacon with these gloves, raw chicken with these gloves and then touched cooked bacon to put on customers plates and he prepared my hani with these same hands. I have been eating at this coney island since i was a kid and i'm telling you i was revolted. I notified the waitress that i wouldn't be eating the food and she called the manager over so he would remake my food himself. I appreciated that the manager came over and remade my food but i continued to watch this other guy make everyone elses food by hand with these same gloves. Pork can carry a lot of parasites and a lot of elderly people eat at this restaurant. I was kind of shocked the manager didn't ask the guy to wash his hands or put on new gloves. I wont be eating at this establishment for the rest of my life and ill be telling my friends that live in the area about my experience i really hope this coney can better train...

And pointed at the receipt..... I could only say... that's not the way I ordered it, or I wouldn't have driven up here to return your salad and have to drive to the hospital now to deliver her dinner in the proper form as ordered..... all I received..... was have a good night..... unreal..... I'm not bashing National Coney. Because I've met their owner on a few occasions, and he is an awesome leader and great guy...... don't want to bring this bad encounter up to him, but I really felt.... well ..... I won't be back anytime soon...and ..... I guess that's not...
Read moreWe went to National Coney Island in Roseville for a late dinner with a friend tonight. We were seated in the unfortunate section right next to the wait staff drinks and dessert stations. This spot is already loud because of shakes being made and the rushed clanks of drink cups being filled. Tonight we had a special treat of one member of the wait staff chewing out another for supposedly making a mess while she was making a shake. I understand how this works. It’s close to shift change and you can’t go home if your station is not cleaned but yelling at another member of the wait staff to the point of making her cry, in public, in front of customers is unacceptable. This should never be allowed to happen. Customers should never have to be aware of issues that may be going on behind the scenes. And the rudeness was rewarded by being allowed to go home while the other (who’s emotions were clearly unstable due to the situation) was further tortured by having to stay. This is a perfect display of poor management skills. No one should have to work in such a hostile situation. I am just disgusted by the...
