(Edit: Almost 2 months later now, and we gave Chicken House a try again because we needed something quick and easy. Very happy to see the Throwbacks on the menu, and the prices seem to have come back down a touch. Sadly, the Nashville Hot is still not as saucy as it used to be, but other than that, everything we got was fantastic! We're also looking forward to seeing the new ordering window that's supposed to be coming soon.)
We were so excited for chicken house to reopen and excited about the extended hours, but we are unhappy about the new menu. It's great that there are more options now, but completely getting rid of the specialty named sandwich list and making the menu all build-it-yourself was a poor move. We had to look up the old menu to figure out what all the toppings were on our favorite sandwiches only to see about a 50% increase in price. Then, when we got them, they were not the same as before. The Nashville Hot, in particular, was quite lacking.
We will likely still get Chicken House every once in a while since it's so close, but definitely not nearly as often as we used to. Probably won't be recommended Chicken House...
