Chicken House — Restaurant in Ross Township

(Edit: Almost 2 months later now, and we gave Chicken House a try again because we needed something quick and easy. Very happy to see the Throwbacks on the menu, and the prices seem to have come back down a touch. Sadly, the Nashville Hot is still not as saucy as it used to be, but other than that, everything we got was fantastic! We're also looking forward to seeing the new ordering window that's supposed to be coming soon.)

We were so excited for chicken house to reopen and excited about the extended hours, but we are unhappy about the new menu. It's great that there are more options now, but completely getting rid of the specialty named sandwich list and making the menu all build-it-yourself was a poor move. We had to look up the old menu to figure out what all the toppings were on our favorite sandwiches only to see about a 50% increase in price. Then, when we got them, they were not the same as before. The Nashville Hot, in particular, was quite lacking.

We will likely still get Chicken House every once in a while since it's so close, but definitely not nearly as often as we used to. Probably won't be recommended Chicken House...

The Chicken House on Gull Lake is a real gem! If you're looking for some seriously delicious food, look no further. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. But the real star of the show? Their special "come back" sauce. Seriously, it lives up to the name – you'll find yourself wanting to come back just for that! It's got this perfect blend of tang and spice that complements everything on the menu. Beyond the fantastic food, I also wanted to give a shout-out to Jeff. He's doing a fantastic job! The service was top-notch, friendly, and efficient. It's clear he cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. If you're in the Gull Lake area, make sure to stop by the Chicken House. Good food - but jesus are the hours all over the place and frankly disappointing- I’m glad they finally started selling ice cream till 9:30pm but if your going to be a chicken and ice cream place then sell CHICKEN and ice cream

I love the food - but if I want to eat there after work for dinner? Sorry can’t real food stops at 4 The hours are so wack that there’s never a good time to get chicken unless it’s before 4 and most people work

Marketed as a chicken place open till 9:30 - people are going to expect CHICKEN -

at least sell chicken AND ice cream Tue- sat till 8 or even 7:30 -i know many people who want to eat there but can’t cause of weird hours - lots of my friends love the place and would eat there later in the day but they work till 5 - only been able to easily eat there maybe 4...
