Frank's Pizza & Chicken — Restaurant in Ross Township

Frank's is a local pizza chain with a few locations around the 'Burgh. They are family owned according to their website. Frank's is best known for their chicken, and so I wanted to try an item that featured it. Their Buffalo chicken pizza is pretty famous, so I tried the "great white Buffalo" pizza.

For a place that is very well known for this type of pizza, I wasn't particularly impressed. It wasn't bad, but nothing really stood out as spectacular. I will say that the deal was pretty reasonable for a somewhat large-sized personal pie (10", but it felt like it was more).

The ranch was quite tasty, and they do give it to you for free with any order to my knowledge. They say its homemade as well. The crust for the pizza was somewhat standard, a bit greasy, not bad. Thicker crust than I'd like. The Buffalo sauce had a good amount of kick to it, but nothing too exciting. The chicken was breaded and on the oily side.

All in all, the pizza was nothing special. I expected more for a place known for chicken, especially chicken pizzas. But, it wasn't terrible, and the price was pretty cheap for a...

I'm sorry but you have to retrain employees they seem clueless. And do not know how to properly handle a customer issue.. if you aren't sure please ask to put me on hold and grab a manager. Don't Tell me "uhhhh hmm well your foods made we can reimburse you.. oh you accidentally clicked pick up?! No problem we can deliver it! What's the address? Oh no that's out of delivery area. Ahh don't worry I'm going to take care of you.." Me thinking how I already told you the mistake and you clearly weren't listening. I'm a chill person and I did make a mistake and I've been a manager I learned how to deal with issues as simple as what I called about. You literally never tell a customer no off the bat. Especially when I know how food cost works. And I know it's put in to the budget for these things and I guarantee half the employees steal food without ringing it in or paying. We have not had take out pizza in over a year and a half, because every time we order from various shops we are so disappointed with their product and just stopped ordering pizza out. but we had a taste for some This night. This was the 1st time trying Frank's Pizza in West View PA And we ordered the white pizza. What can I say but WOW, WOW, WOW, how delicious and crispy this pizza was. Just the way we like our pizza. I HATE SOGGY PIZZA, it turns us off. They seasoned and fired roasted the tomatoes and diced them and covered the whole pizza with the variety of cheese and the tomatoes. As my son said they covered it with deliciousness, I said it's sinful, my husband said it is his best white pizza he has ever had here in Pittsburgh.
