Was expecting better, tbh. The halibut was dry (cardinal sin). Actually, all the meat was over-cooked and dry, sadly. Even the pieces of house-made bacon on the BLT salad were cooked to within an inch of their life. The sauce on the sautéed kale that came in the entrée, and the salad dressing were delicious, though. The menu is inspired, but the actual cooking of the proteins was poorly executed. That being said, the flour-less chocolate cake was to die for. The salad was quite generous, we split it for two, but it could have gone three easily. The artisanal bread was excellent.

A true Earth-to-Table mixed Euro-Mediterranean-California style fare perfectly blended. Rich and fresh flavors and a quite extensive list of starters and entrees. Soothing beer soup (pictured) was a perfect warmup. The house gnocchi was delicious and plentiful. 1/2 price wine Wednesdays are a bargain and an opportunity to beat crowds. The rather unembellished surroundings can make for a loud evening. We look forward to warmer weather when we can dine outside. This was one of my favorite meals in a while.

The worst for us was the service, it was so slow. We stayed at the restaurant for probably 2h/2:30h, and it wasn’t because we had trouble deciding what to order, and the chair seat outside it’s a little uncomfortable. The desert it was a flourless chocolate cake, but it seemed more like a brownie. The steak was the best of the night, perfectly cooked.

Disappointing experience with their duck confit which is their praised dish on their menu. Delivered super dry and I could not tell if it was deep fried or over roasted. I complained for dryness and asked server if the chef would recommend some kind of sauce to make it eatable. She came to the table after 15 minutes and said "the chef dose not have any sauce to recommend". that was it! I pushed my plate out signaling I was not happy and I would not eat it. Any decent restaurant would have offered if I would like to try something else from the menu. But no. No class and no care. We quickly paid and left the place and obviously will never go back. A fast cook at a coffee shop would probably...

We held a wedding rehearsal dinner for 32 on Marché's outdoor terrace last weekend. Darren and Alicia were terrific to work with in the planning stages - they suggested a menu with items that covered the dietary limitations we sent over, had a sensible wine list to choose from. The food was tasty, abundant, and beautifully presented, and like Darren and Alicia, the staff were super. The terrace itself is like sitting in an arbor, there's no sense of traffic from the street or real visibility to the alley on the side - you just enjoy the green surroundings and the lights strung above. The indoor space at Marché is also very attractive. What a great find - highly...

Marche Aux Fleurs is a stand-out for delicious food in Marin, with great options for those of us on a vegetarian diet! We've never seen a whole roasted cauliflower on the menu, but there it was with roasted beet hummus and all char broiled. Incredibly tasty gnocchi with chanterelles, Yum! And to top it all off, at the end, the chocoholic magnet of a shallow baked lava cake. Almost like a brownie, warm and addictive. I shouldn't have, but I had a cappuccino with dessert and it was delectable. The service is attentive and borderline perfect. I have mixed emotions about sharing this review, for fear that it will make reserving a table in the future more...
